Affordable Daily Lunch @Mid Valley Area

It is 2015 and with GST, our money shrink so does our meals. Coming from the North and still alien in KL/PJ. Hopefully can get some guidance from you guys. I have enough of AEON Sushis and La Boheme.

May I ask your wisdom & sharing of knowledge on where to find affordable meals for the hardworking people in Mid Valley area? Doesn't have to be in the mall but within walking distance.

My Definition of Affordable Daily Lunch:
1. Not Fast Food.
2. Decent proportion to last for at least 4-5 hours.
3. Around RM5~8 for a decent meal.
4. Drinks no necessary.
Metro Last Light Crash with GTX 550 Ti

Hi everyone,

I really need your assistance (all suggestion are welcome) so I could at least play Metro Last Light for about 30min or 1hr without crashing. I know my PC spec is almost obsolete but I still hope to at least able to play Metro LL even with the lowest of setting but it doesn't seems to work anything beyond 15min.

I'm able to play the first Metro 2033 previously using the same graphic card at Moderate setting without much of a problem. Although it does crash after about 2~3 hrs of game play. I easily fix the issue by taking breaks in between for the PC to cool down. However, for Metro Last Light, it crash without failed randomly from 5~20min into the game. This is really too much even for me to take.

What I mean by "Crash":
- Kicked out to window mid of the game - Game Client Non-responsive. *Most frequent symptom*
- Screen freeze and non-responsive - Have to force restart PC. *Moderate frequent symptom*
- Driver crashed, kicked out to window, game client shut down. *Once in a while*

Metro Last Light settings as recommended but still experience crash every 5~15min:
Advance PhysX = Off
Resolution = 1204x768
Quality = Low
SSAA = Off
Testure Filtering = AF 4X
Motion Blur = Low
Tessellation = Off
VSYNC = Off

My PC specs:
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
i5-3450 @3.10Ghz
8 GB Ram
Gigabyte GTX 550 Ti (970Mhz factory OC)
GPU Driver 320.49
Boring distance driving (Zzz...)

I tried search before posting to avoid bump. Hope I'm not violating the rules here, sorry if I do.

I'm a bikerman and rarely drives but recently found myself needing to drive long distance back and forth like Penang -> Melaka alone. I found it hard to keep awake although with the music blasting away. My only solution atm is Sour plum & occasional short break/rest at the rest station but that would take me typically a whooping 4-5 hrs from Penang to KL (snail...) . I'm typically following the speed limit.

I'd appreciate it if you guys would kindly share with me some useful tips & suggestion.

P/S: I've almost crash to the other side of the road for nodding off once at the North South highway. Thank God for all the kind drivers who horn me 99 before I actually crash. I do have ample rest before driving off but hours of concentration and empty scenery really snooze me off. My wife were terrified once and even now threaten to avoid me driving alone unless I could come out with a proper solution.

Little Viva going distance travelling

To all Sifu here, kindly advise... as I'm pretty new to cars

I own just a few months old Viva and would like to take some extra precaution because I will be travelling long distance from north Malaysia to south Malaysia on regular basis (At least twice a month). I know this is a little city car but I believe it is a wonderful car as well for soft distance driving.

Aside from the regular maintenance that I often do before I travel. No modification were made Uptodate but what can I install as an 'add on' to reduce the burden of the drive & ease to the driver? Or good practise that I should follow?

Follow is some that I heard from my friends but would you recommend others if you know of any?

Good add-on:
1. Car Insulator to reduce noise and heat. (Does this really works?) The local P2 SC quote me RM75 for the Hood.
2. Engine air filter??
3. Use coolant instead of water for the radiator.
4. Change larger wheel.

Good Practise:
1. Avoid driving at constant speed of above 80km/h. Best remained at 80km/h & below.
2. Take occasional 20min engine break for every 2h non-stop driving.

Thank you very much for your great ideas & opinions.

REVO Engine Treatment

Not to confused with the REVO magazine, I'm talking about:
http://www.revooil.com/m_en/whyrevo.html

I'm driving an old Proton Tiara age of about 12 yrs old but mileage at 26km only. So far the car serves me well which pass down from my old dad. Was thinking of properly taking good care of it. FC is quite... at the pain with about 25-30 cent per KM.

Was wondering if REVO helps? Considering that they claim it help save up to 15% petrol & tender your engine. Anyone uses it before and find it worthwhile?
http://www.revooil.com/m_en/fuelsavings.html

On the side note... I see groupon got promotion... worth it?
http://www.groupsmore.com/cities/multiple-cities/deals/wel

Savvy owners here?

Hi Sifu & Proton Savvy owners here, hope can get some ideas & opinion from you.

Recently for God knows what reason... my mom & gf seems to be very fixated to this very humble Kamen Rider Super-1 look alike Proton Savvy. I start to pay attention to this car that I heard is going obsolete very soon like Proton Tiara. Also, i heard the engine is France & lousy. In addition, lots of mechanic faced issues due to lack of knowledge in fixing it or that the engineering is not too mechanic-friendly. Weird thing is... I heard all this story from FORD, HONDA, & PERODUA promoters... so now I'd prefer to listen to all the good people here rather than those folks who trying to market their cars.

Would like to know if at price around 20k, is this car a worth buy?
Is it true that the FC is as good as VIVA?
Is it true that the drives, thanks to AMT makes it feel more sporty?
What about a likelihood of a dude of 185cm getting comfortable in this car?
What about the regular maintenance?

Looking for a Nice BackPack

Hey guys, hope u can help me...

I'm using a 14" ACER laptop and when I bought it at the time, they only give me the carrying bag which is very inconvenient
to me as Uni student. I prefer a Back Pack so I can include some of my notes n etc. inside. My common cheap bag often failed me
and occasionally tear n broke, I'm worry my laptop might one day damage due to these stupid low quality bagpacks.

I've look into Targus n they failed me, I was wondering about Dicota as well as other brands.
If you have used any good backpack before can you recommend it to me? Also if you're a seller,
and you have a good offer and deal, do post here and who knows I might even contact you or pay
your shop a visit at Lowyat?

My requirement? Simple: I want a comfortable backpack (meaning good sponge), good sufficient spaces, and it can really protect
my laptop. Additional stuffs would be good as well... ^^

Really appreciate your help, Thank you very much~!!
