Comments:

Firstly, this is a unlocked Japanese phone. You can only call and sms with it, not even email (seriously). If you can tolerate it or take along another smartphone, it is a stylish and incredibly beautiful phone. There is a certain satisfaction to flip it open and close it after calls, and its built with incredibly good quality. I have never failed to impress anyone that saw this phone. It is water resistant and dust proof, like all Japanese phone.

Since its not running apps, not running 3g, its battery last for 2 days. If you use wifi, the battery lasts more than 1 day, less than 2. There are facebook, twitter app in it which i have yet to explore, so I could not comment. You can technically visit hotmail and gmail via the phone built in browser but you will need wifi and the screen is not optimal for email page.

This phone is software unlocked, and I have been using my DIGI with it without any problems. Google hypersim and you will notice that it is cumbersome and need to reboot often, such problems do not exist in this phone.

F-01E features a 13.1M camera with flash which definitely is excellent, a pedometer, and a finger print sensor. Pedometer tracks your daily calories burn but thats all to it. It has a tilt sensor which will activate the front panel led when tilted to show time. To upload musics, pictures to the phone, you will need to do so via a micro SD card, you can only use pictures in the phone memory as wallpaper so you wil need to copy from SD card to phone memory, first. It also have bluetooth, nfc and IR.

Japanese phone have a function called machi-chara where a cute mascot will appear wandering on your phone screen and display random topics through a bubble. Sometimes I flip open just to check this. However, the messages are in Japanese.

This phone comes new all the way from Japan. If you buy from Kyoex http://www.kyoex.com/docomo-fujitsu-f-01e-...phone-unlocked/ it will cost you RM 1,446, excluding data cable which cost RM100, excluding sirim RM300, excluding custom clearance RM 400+. If you buy it new, in total it will cost you RM2000+, not to mention the current exchange rate plunge.

I am selling it RM 1,600 because somehow I got lucky with sirim. It is of course negotiable.

Comments: My surface experience started when I purchased a Surface RT from a lowyat forumer to act as my daily driver. Then, I ditched Surface RT for Surface Pro 3 so that I can run full windows. Then I sold my surface Pro 3 again because its too heavy and I felt like weight lifting when I am using it as a tablet. I ended up with this Surface 3, lightweight, runs full windows and sports a well built backlit keyboard (tactile definitely better than pro 3). ~Search my profile for my topics and you will find all sales thread made by me in the forum.

Surface 3 is now even better windows 10 and its battery life, unlike Surface Pro 3's, can last a very long time (whole day) if you don't game intensively or crank the brightness all the way up.

The only trouble with this surface is the usb charger, which charge very slowly unlike surface pro 3. Finally, the weakness that causes me to sell this tablet is non other than lacking LTE connectivity. Two days ago I went to do a presentation, amended the file last minute in my dekstop and dropped it into dropbox. When I was trying to present, I realised my phone is dead and theres no wifi. I ended up tethering from my boss's phone which wasn't a good impression to show the audience. I have since then decided to get some tablets that have LTE capabilities... Perhaps, anyone who read this can PM me recommendations - Running full office apps, LTE, must have outlook, not more than 2k..

Review:

This Surface Pro 3 is Prefect for office tasks. The battery is lasting unless you crank up its brightness to maximum. I have watched 1080p movies via popcorn time on this tablet, and had been playing RO on this tablet. The only reason I am letting this tablet go is because I wanted to downgrade to Surface 2/3, as most of the things I do with this tablet can be done using Windows RT.

Surfing on this tablet is smooth, and with windows 10 coming in July it will be a much better tablet. The only complain is I can't use it while lying down, because of its weight (partly worsen because of the tempered glass applied). The surface pen is good for taking notes but I seldom use it.

The pouch is good looking but a sling is needed for better mobility, I have planned to take it to a tailor to get it done before this but now not going to since I am selling it. There is no "battery depleting even charger is connected" issue by surface 3, I can confirm the charger supply enough charges to charge while the tablet is in use.

Cooler fan is inaudible unless u really listen hard, but under full load the tablet is warm to touch. Keyboard have good tactile feedback but is a hassle when using it as a tablet (normally i remove it).

I am selling at a lower price because of the banged up corner and halved warranty period mentioned above.

Review:

The surface tablet although running RT, it can basically statisfy most of my needs. I used Hyper to watch youtube, which handles HD streaming flawlessly, VLC app for RT have excellent codec coverage, Animetube connects to kissanime which allow you to stream a big library of anime and manga tree allows downloading of manga to access via offline.

Additionally, it runs full office smoothly and best of it all it has full version of outlook. Native support are available to connect to network drive of your main PC and u can stream any videos you want wirelessly.

Update: just found out that Surface RT is compatible with my miracast dongle. Got youtube to stream on my HDTV flawlessly (1080p). Tried remote desktop, much to my disappointment, it couldnt run Ragnarok Online (have not tried windowed mode)... but video, office, email, browser, itunes anything else that runs in windowed mode works fine.

Screen is gorgeous, its blurry on the picture because I used a potato named Lumia 620.
