Need suggestion for thirty party Lense

Hello member-members from LYN,

Am looking for third party lense - Tamron, Sigma, or Tokina. CANON mount
Read a lot article from online but still not understand bout how is the third party lense, such as some issue like:
1. which lense is usable for APS-C or which not.
2. where to find the stock, seem not every lense got stock. beside that, is it got a specialise shop that sell third party lense?
3. a lot like the below code is very confusing, and is these code important?

SP - Super Performance (Tamron's highest quality lens line)
AF - Autofocus
XR - Extra Refractive Glass (reduces lens size)
Di - Digitally Integrated Design (to reduce ghosting, flare, CA and peripheral light fall-off along with improved resolution)
LD - Low-Dispersion lens elements (to reduce chromatic aberration for sharper images)
Aspherical - contains aspherical elements (compensates for spherical aberration and distortion, making for better performance with fewer elements (and thus allowing for smaller, lighter lenses)
(IF) - Internal Focusing

very noob about that, hope someone can explain to me with layman terms.

lastly, am also looking for a lense which the requirement is like below:
a) preferable f/2.8
b) preferable budget RM2k
c) preferable wide angle + standard zoom

i got some option here:
I. Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto
II. Tamron AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II VC LD Aspherical [IF]
III. Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM Lens
IV. Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM Standard Zoom Lens
V. Tokina 16-50mm F/2.8 Pro DX Autofocus Zoom Lens

Any suggestion?

is it only for auto mode like : program, aperture priority, shutter priority?

actually i am very interest to join team for playing football league, for amateur la...
but i found less info abt this, and very seldom listen people participate in any football league, mb i hv too less fren who involve in football game...
except those proffesional club, i think most hv the amateur league the player hv to bear the fee (field rental, hire referee, etc) themselves

Any body know when Canon EOS 500D will start sold in Malaysia?
feature not bad especially can record HD video (20 frame per seond for full HD), plan to buy it as my first DSLR

my pc problem, automatic restart :(

sometimes i play dota, near to end of the game, my pc will hang, then blue screen on my monitor, then it restart automatic...

dono what's problem is there, this occur many time already

my pc have a C2D 2.66Ghz processor + 2GB ram
but for me, i feel it is worse when compare to other lower spec pc
