Nokia 3210 - battery or charger?

hello there!
need some help!

i bought a nokia 3210 (from amcorp mall flea market) which is working but only can tahan about 2-3 hours after it was fully charged.

it took about less than hour to charge using aftermarket charger.

the battery is original nokia (dated october 2000!) from zitron.

so when i was about to re-charge the battery, the battery progress meter only appeared for twice to 5 times then it's gone. after i switched off the charger and switch it back on, same goes. only appeared twice to 5 times then it's gone.

understood that the battery is already 13 years of age so i was wondering if the battery is already lost its juice?

or is it because of the aftermarket charger that won't work like before?

imgcache folder

just wondering, i am using nokia X3-02 touch & type and whenever i take/edit photos, there's a folder called imgcache in my memory card.
even after i delete it, it will always come back again & again.

i assume that the files in the folder (called .arc and .tec) are something like cookie (for web browser).

is this imgcache thingy only appears for latest nokia models (latest models starting from 2010 onwards)?

because i've used nokia 5310 xpressmusic & nokia 6303 classic previously and this folder didn't appear.
