Hello mates...

This web site offers an online torrent download service (it DL the files to its servers, then provides a direct http link to get them - 1 connection per file & NOT RESUMABLE)...but what more could we want...

Unleash YOUR Torrents!

Cheers & HF TORRENTING!

Anyone knows what happened to iZZi?!?

This is madness to be frank...

I have been a bit anxious to what iZZi might turn out:
- a greedy ISP as the rest
- an ISP with a bright future

I think you know the answer, it's "A GREEDY ISP!"
Since I've subscribed to their 1Mbps ( ":BIG_LOL:" ) service, their were always disconnects, interruptions of some sort and outages for a day or less.

Now, the worst of all is this "ultra-fast Dial-Up speed" I have instead of what i ordered.
The speed is roughly 6-8KB/s (without P2P or anything which might eat up the bandwidth).
At least that's from couple of days back.

I've phoned their 'all-so-wisdomous' customer care and what they told me was this:
"The systems are under heavy loads, that is why the connection speed is slow; but the systems are programmed in such a way that they 'FLASH TO NORMAL AUTOMATICALLY' (wtf does that mean?!? ) so the speed becomes normal again."

I barely could hold myself not to burst into laughing my guts out.
I mean, is the ISP not supposed to increase/upgrade their bandwidth/network infrastructure in order to satisfy the growing rate of the customers??
Does not that make them more profit than clogging, throttling and shaping the customer's traffic?
But it seems that customer care for these iZZi people is only on the paper, and the money is the real deal they're after (I don't blame that philosophy, but make an equality with QUALITY SERVICE!).

If this thing does not get solved in a week or so, I'm so cancelling it!
I filed a complaint to CFM as well. Hope it will at least be taken into consideration.

Anyone else had problems with iZZi??

How about the CFM complaints? Are they efficient in responses/actions?
Are they able to force the ISPs to change their culture of handling users?

I'd like to read about your stories.

Cheers....
