Hi sifus,

Anyone tried these wifi booster/extender?

1) WiFi Booster AirTies Air 4830 (RM520 2 units)
2) Xiaomi Pro 300M 2.4G WiFi Extender Repeater Pro Amplifier With 2 Antenna - BLACK (~RM40)
3) Tenda 300mbps A9 Universal Wireless WiFi Range Extender Repeater Booster (~RM45)
4) Xiaomi Xiao Mi USB Wifi Amplifier Extender 2 Repeater Router 300MBPS (~RM35)

I'm currently using Time fibre with TP-Link AC1200 router. However, the wifi range is undesirable. Couldn't even connect to the 2.4GHZ wifi in those area far from the router. It's saddening that the 5 GHZ wifi is only able to cover the living room.

In the time "selfcare" portal, they are selling AirTies wifi booster at RM520. Is it worth the price? Since there are other alternatives.

Tried to search for reviews on shopee for other products (however, there's mixed reviews).

Dear Sifu, how to split equity for startup?

I have recently met an investor, he (Mr A) wanted to build an app and I'm an app developer.

Mr A has found Mrs B to do marketing.

He proposed:
1) I will get 10%, I don't need to fork out any money, need to invest my time to build the app
2) Mrs B Marketing fella (app idea guy) 30 %, she doesn't need to fork out any money
3) Mr A will get 60%, he will

Without much experience, I've actually agreed to help to build the apps since the concept is not very complicated.

After spending 4 months building the app, and almost completed it, MR A said that this business model doesn't work, he proposed to change the idea. (it's a lot more work compared to the initial idea)

What should I do? I didn't get paid a single cents for the past few months (And I'm paying for the server hosting), and now they are pivoting to a new idea.

For a 60% share, what's the amount of money he should actually invest in?

For Mrs B, she proposed to spent RM60k on marketing the app. Should I propose to spent RM 20k-50k for app development and outsource the development instead?

I've applied my tourist visa via this website, on the website tracker, it mentioned that it's approved and paid. (paid RM26).

However, on the official website, I couldn't find my record. Since it's asking for these reference type ID which is not provided:

The receipt (Australia Visa Response slip is rather simple with no solid reference type ID at all. Just with my passport information.

I heard some people bought iPhone5 from Singapore/US and sell it in Malaysia last year and managed to earn some handsome profit.

Thinking of giving it a try with iPhone5S this year.

Uncertainties:
1) Is it legal to do so? (Will SG and US tax me if I buy iPhone in bulk, e.g 15 units?)
2) If yes, is it Worth the Effort? (profit & breakdown, Aiming for 10% profit)
3) If yes, how to do it? (Is there a limitt on how many iPhones you can buy?)
