Ways to avoid Streamyx traffic shaping. how?

I'm downloading things using Utorrent. Supposedly the fastest bit torrent client out there but my download speed still sucks like hell. I get about like 10kb/s.

I've tried as many ways as I can to increase the speed but it's still the same.
Ways I've tried:

1) Using the recommended Utorrent 1.9 Beta (no improvement )
2) Using Deluge instead of utorrent
3) Using proxy in utorrent.
3) Trying to use Hotspot shield VPN (but can't connect to server)

None of them seems to help.
Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Gender could be an issue in the workplace. It is very much agreed that lady bosses are more demanding and fussy than male bosses.
But beside your boss, if you get to choose your coworkers, which one would you prefer?

Ppl say that MNCs are very political inside. So anyone has experience in big 4 and how's the working environment? Are they even more political compared to other companies?

The job scope seems to be account-related. She mention sth about accs payable, acc receivables stuff...

Can dvd player play .AVI file

I'm now trying to convert my RMVB file into dvd playable by normal DVD player.

I got the Allok converter and the Window Vista dvd maker. Last time I've tried to convert the RMVB into .VOB file and and then burn it with DVD Creator. But the whole process took me like ages summore i only managed to fit 3 episodes into a DVD.

I'm thinking of converting to AVI format to save time and burn it into DVD.
Is it workable?

How to accept/reject offer in appropriate way?

If an offer is made, who should we call up to accept that? The ppl interviewing us or the HR people in charge?
and also if we don't want to accept the offer, how should we reject "tactfully"?

If we take up an offer letter with stated commencing date, usually for how long can we defer the commencing date? If I want to ask for extension of offer, is one month from the date I receive offer letter reasonable?

I saw the job advertisement at Star and jobstreet but the job descriptions are not so clear.

anyone has sth to share with the klse MT programme? What does the trainee do? do they have preference for certain groups of ppl.

How's the environment like for working in klse?

big 4 conference call interview? What's that?

I'm not physically present in Malaysia so I just got an email from KPMG asking me to schedule for a conference call interview.

Anyone have any idea about that? Do I really need a web cam? (I don't have one)

I have never heard of job interview using conference call before....really shocked and need some time to cool myself down on that....lolz...

The date they suggest is like 3 days from today....Is it polite to ask them whether I can reschedule the interview?
