External Hardisk makes computer not responding?

I have an external 320 WD 2.5" hardisk that works fine for a few months until recently my laptop restarted and the whole pc jammed. So i unplugged the hardisk and my laptop power supply and everything went back to normal except for my hardisk.

Whenever i plug in the cable to my laptop, the usb icon came out indicates that my hardisk is connected to the pc, but when I open my "My Computer", the whole windows goes to not responding until i unplugged the hardisk, the whole windows back to normal.

I've tried to uninstall the usb in device manager, but the problem still occured.
I tried to chg it to different casing but the same problem still occured.

So, can someone teach me how to fix my hardisk failure coz i suspect it is the hardisk problem. And i dont wan to change the hardisk because my data, movie, mp3, scores are inside. At least let me recover my data 1st.

I bought the hardisk 5 months ago. SO it's still under warranty and i can change it but the problem is i want to recover my data before i change it.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

So we decided to apply streamyx for our rented apartment. But the problem is we have to move out every semester (approx. 4 months) and move in to new apartment the next 2 months.
And the streamyx package stated that minimum subscription period is 12 months.

So, the question is, can we just pay for the first 4 months, then skip for the following 2 months fees, then continue paying for the following 4 months fees and so on? We are not going to use streamyx for 2 months because we are having our semester break on that time.
And about the line, is it posible that we will be charged extra for relocation? This is because we have to change our apartment every semester.

Any suggestions or comments?

Is it possible to enter UTAR or MMU June Intake?

Hi, I just found out that i cant enter local. Now the problem is whether is it possible for me to enter UTAR or MMU now?
I got all principles in my 4 Subjects and now I want to enter engineering at MMU. Or can i enter UTAR instead?
I knew that the application is already over but I just want to ask is it possible for me to enter MMU or UTAR now???

I am sure that i went to check yesterday mid-night and it havnt out yet. But just now (mid-night) i went to check again, and is already out! And i got the application.

Need to stay there for 2days. And i am the only one got it while my d other 2 frens failed.
It never stat wat course i will got it. I applied for EE Eng, Mechanical Eng, Petroleum Eng.

Now the question is, wat is EDUCAMP??? Will i be able to enter if i miss it? cos the time is quite rush for me to make the preparation to go Perak, i am staying in Melaka btw. Left FEW DAYS wth...
The result of admission to local uni is around the corner. And i am worry if i cant get a course i want. Btw, i hv cgpa 2.41 in stpm only.

I saw this girl once when i working at that music centre. She is the student. Now, I stop working there, and is already 1 month. I have a male friend who is still working there as part time, and i ask him to help me find out her timetable. Most probably she will going to pay her fees this saturday. And i am going there to visit my ex-boss n my friend and also to take advantage.

Now, the problem is how to start a conversation with her or how to get her contact?

None of the worker there know her. And this girl is a quiet type.

i gonna buy i-mobile phone.
either i-mobile 520 or 518

but i found out in market that this 2 types of phone is quite similar and the price is not that much difference.
So i am just wondering which is better?
any of you who use it or your frens who use it, can i get some reviews?
