distorted display

greetings to all sifus,i am wondering if my gpu still saveable or not.recently it turned haywire on me.my display just went distorted with some running lines like you can see some binary numbers behind the main screen.its not nice to look at.i know my gpu is the cause as when i dismount it and use my onboard graphic,it works well.but still i dont want to push playing games and movies with my onboard graphic(had a painful past doing that).i did went online and there are some post suggesting it might be the driver.updating doesnt work.even with a new fresh hd and os it still retain the same trouble.so far nothing works.any ideas?

greeting to all sifus out there.i am in of your guidance regarding my pc...about a week ago i decided to upgrade my antivirus.i was using kaspersky 2011 then change it to 2015(trial only).it was during this it occurs.during the installatition after kaspersky 2011 was remored i cannot browse wothout recerving saying websife not sucure and it was google.sites such as youtube and not with an account (like email and sorts) are problem free.i after kaspersky 2015 was installed and updated then i got a buttload of warnings but cant seemed to get rid of it.one particular thing i notice is there is a process called Client.exe.i have never seen this process run before and only after i manually end this process only i can browse but still im not complete at peace here.should i just format my pc?to any masters pls i am in need of your guidance....many thanks

touchpad scroll not functioning

my acer aspire 5741g touchpad has lost its function to scroll up and down like before....how can i redeem this?the mouse is working but the scroll is unresponsive...nothing big just feel awkward without it...any ideas?...many thanks in advance.....

folders gone MIA

greetings to all sifus...i beseech thee...i need you wisdom or guidance to point me in the right direction...my external where i place all my files(movie,installers and such) suddenly hides all of the folders...i can still access them but it starting to annoy the hell out of me...how to get rid of this problem?...is it a a virus?...my kaspersky didn't pick up anything...many thanks in advance...

to all sifus i need your wisdom here...i got a couple of files that seems to me cannot be move or copy...i'm using teracopy to move my files to my external as i want to format my lappy...as i do that some of the files always get stuck at the same percentage.i thought the files got corrupted but they all still works fine.they are video files by the way tho.anyone got any ideas on

a.how to move or copy them?
b.how to fix this trouble?

to all sifus...need a hand here...i apoplogize if i posted in the wrong place....

here what happed...

i was moving my file from external to my lappy to format my external and the next thing i know it got hang n never move...i was using teracopy to transfer around...but when i tried to cancel the transfer the whole lappy got lagged...can't even open taskbar properly...and until such time i was forced to force shutdown and do it again...the thing is the same thing happen on the particular file...and i noticed the file size is not the same...is there anyway to repair this?...doea any1 know?....

any advice is greatly appreciated....many thanks in advance....

to all sifus i need your help...i got myself a Seagate 2TB(Barracuda) but i cannot use it.1st i tried to use with my docking station.it detected the docking but can't access the HD...then i plug it in my CPU...also cannot detect.i already sent it for warranty and i just got it back.still the same...what went wrong?

to all sifus...i am troubled with my d link 2 bay network storage device...i haven't use it for a long long time and now can't connect it and access it...so i was thinking of pressing the reset button...start back from scratch...but i wonder if i press the reset button will it erase all the files within the network storage?....i urge your speedy response...and many thanks in advance....

hello all...need advice here...my Nokia C6-00 touch screen unresponsive all the sudden...buttons working fine...still can access menu...keyboard too...but 70% of the function is rely on touchscreen....is my hp broken or wat?

to all sifus...need help here...i came across a PC where AC Brotherhood hang in mid game/during loading screen(these two is where it usually occurs)...also when playing Cabal cannot play fullscreen...must play window mode playing COD:MW2 also same thing happen...the hang that i mean is the PC will freeze just like that...all it can do is press the restart button then everything became normal...all other functions are ok(doing work,watch dvd n so on) but playing game will make it freeze...i just dont get it....here are the specs:-

monitior : samsung LCD
mobo : Asus(forgot wat model)
proc : intel duo-core 2.93Ghz
hd: WD 500GB
vga : Sapphire 4670 1GB
ram : 4GB
psu : 500w
os : window 7 (32 bit)

i know this spec dont have any edge...but wat puzzles me is dat wat is the problem?...the PC is just a lill above more that a year...its impossible to say it cannot play AC:Brtoherhood on low settings...but hang?...i'm lost...i just wanna know wat made it hang in the first place...same goes to any other games....FYI heat problems can be ruled out...proc got fan n its an open casing...plus a table fan right next to the casing...

got any ideas guys?......i just dont get it...it doesn't add up...

MSI 460 not working?

to all sifus i need yur word of wisdom...i have this problem...i just bought n assemble my newly bought AMD rig...everything works ok...expect my GPU....an MSI 460 GTX cyclone...this is the first time for me to DYI...i notice the GPU had 2 six pin slot on the GPU and my PSU is ODIN PLUS only had 1 6 pin...but in the GPU box they include 2 6 pin cables to attach to 4 pin...question is should i use d cables provided with the GPU?...coz my monitior says no signal when i plug it to the GPU...

hello everyone and to all sifus...i have a problem and its been bugging me ever since...need some insights here...my external HD is making funny sounds and now every time i plug it to my laptop the same error appear saying HD not formated...and i can't access my external...it been with me for almost 4 years...it never suffer from any kind of impacts as i always keep it in a case and maintained it regularly(scandisk,virus scan and defragment)...now i'm hearing sounds from the HD as i plug it...i figure maybe its the needle that is making the sound and i know thats bad news...the question is...is there anyway to recover my files with the HD in its state?...many thanks in advance!

hello!...i'm looking for a laptop asus or acer or msi...as long as its 15.6 inch and above...need it for heavy multimedia works and mobility...as long its price below RM6K its fine...can anyone pm me the price,model and shop address in low yatt so that i can buy it?...if i got choices i'm planning to buy it tomorrow...just need to know where to buy it...i realise tho that mostly gaming notebook fits my description...if i can get a gaming notebook also works...

i got a 2 bay network storage which is i think is not working and i have some files in it...sombody did mention to me to get the ext2 drivers and install in my pc to read to HD(which were in the network storage before)...anyone got any ideas?...i dunno were to find a working 1...

hii guys...just wanna ask all sifus out there about this...its kinda making me a headache...its my family's house network storage...a d link 2 bay network storage...see the problem is that its not detected in the network...all the time displaying the message unable to detect network drive...but the power is on...but the funny thing is that the router wont detect it...i thought the cable might be the problem but turns out the same...i tried to make direct connection to the pc...and guess what ...the LAN port lights doesnt show anything...so i'm guessing the network storage LAN port might be the problem...any ideas?...before this happen it was working fine...even i manage to keep some files inside it...but that was 6 months ago...i'm only afraid it got zap by mr.Kilat...

since i dont know what wrong with the network storage i thought i pull out the HD and install it in my pc...turns out both of the HD are not detected in windows...in BIOS it does show up...i dont get it...is the HD that was used in network storage devices have different format or what so that it cant be detected in windows...or like i mention above...i'm only afraid it got zap by mr.Kilat...

1st of all i'm sorry if i posted wrongly...i wasn''t sure where to put this...to all sifus i need your guidance about my problem...my parents house is using streamyx 512kb connection since 2002 with a belkin wireless router and it is auto connected ...i dont know if this is important or not...but recently it became haywire...like your can use it for an hour or so and then it just went dead on you...sometimes it will return normal and sometimes it doesn't...if it doesn't it will return back unless i restated the pc again...or turn off the wireless router off and on again...after 5-10 minutes...really annoying actually....i need your guidance...

greetings everybody...this is not necessarily but i just kinda need an opinion over here about my mobo...its an MSI K8M Neo-V ver 1 with AMD Athlon 64 2800+(754 socket) with 512MB RAM...quite old already...but still work miraculously...just recently when i went to low yat kl and pc depot ipoh ...i thought maybe its time to change ...but before doing dat just wanna ask is it really time for me to change it?...if need...can this old parts be used again or turn it into a relic in my room? ...any POV is highly appreciated...thank you...
