Anyone faces this problem before?

Bought an USB charger cost USD40 which should be exempted from tax, but Fedex declared Rm485 of freight rate which end up need to pay RM125 tax duty, WTF???

Fedex people say it is standard freight rate for all items import from US, even the item cost is only RM10, WTF is this sh*t?

I went to Batu Maung KLAS custom for clarification, the Fedex insist on the so call freight rate that approved by IATA:

Not able to change the tariff as that is what blizzard declared

Fedex reply:
"The minimum weight show 9.6 kg is the weight range: 0 – 9.6kg - RM480.25.
1.4 kg is within this range and freight rates RM480.25 applied. "

retina macbook current leak

Hi

Is the current leak a common problem for macbook charger? i tested few locations other than my house all has the current leaking (kind of like small tingle/vibration)

The default stock charger does not have 3rd pin for grounding, i am not sure what else can i do...

Hi All

just want to share my finding on Audio Technica AD700 + creative XFi titanium PCIe normal edition

When i first got my AD700, the "softness" and lack of bass is really turn me down for awhile. Tuning EQ will help a bit but make some sound distorted when extreme low or extreme high voice.
I am using Foobar + WASAPI + flac source + Audio Creation mode , so shouldnt be source issue. I then figure out i always turn the media player volume to full (default setting by most media players), and lower down the windows speaker setting to minimum to avoid eardrum broken . With this setting, the AD700 output is very dull and lack of bass.

So i try to lower down the media player volume to ~40% and increase the windows speaker volume to 40%. With this setting, the sound now become very punching and solid The bass also increases a big notch.

Hopefully this will help those who found open cans give "softness" sound. Tested with Xfi titanium + AD700, Didnt test with onboard sound though. Theory wise i think maybe because the window speaker volume actually control the current going out from the sound jack? Need Audiophile guru to explain i guess

Lawyer letter to previous owner

Hi

Since the lawyer's corner is closed, would like to ask for advice from gurus.

Problem description:

2 years ago the house first owner (person X) had financial issue and didnt pay the housing loan. The bank then auctioned the house to (person Y). Since X has more than 1 bank debt, other banks sent lawyer letter to this house address. Y didnt do anything and ignore all the letters. I then bought the property from Y. Now the banks are keep on sending lawyer letters to my house address since this is the last known address of X.

Question is, do those banks have the right to take back my house? What should i do to handle this issue? There are too many banks and lawyer firm, i do not have time to explain all to them one by one...

Hi All,

Wanna ask for opinions.

Currently i am considering these two models for wifu.

SAGA FL 1.6L exec : RM46500

and

New Myvi 2011 Premium Auto : RM50400

Things to decide:

1) Safety (Safety First!!!!!)
2) Quality (not so easy rosak)
3) Easier to drive/park (girl maaa....)
4) Cost (Bang for buck)
5) Waiting time to get the car after ordered (not so important...)

Which car is the better buy?

Obviously there is no new Myvi owner yet... Tested drive SAGA 1.6L short distance only, cant say much.

All comments are welcome...

Problem is short: Couldn't OC a single bit

Here is the story....

I was using OC setting before i decided to swap casing and upgrade water cooling loop. After setting everything up, test for leaking and it actually leaked. Some coolant drop on mobo and GC. Cleaned it with toilet paper, re-seat the leaking part and re-test for leaking.

After 2 hours+, no more leaking and checked the mobo and GC were dried. So i power up PC and it boots fine for the first time. Checking for temperature and voltage, all running fine.

Then restart once, the PC refuse to post.
It stuck in boot loop which restart when reach code "2F"
So i clear CMOS, and PC manage to boot into windows. Then i restart to BIOS to set back my OC setting, It stuck and boot loop again...

I tried re-seat GC, RAM multiple time and still no luck, it just refuse to boot whenever i toucht OC menu. I even manually set Turbo multiplier down to 38 while others as auto.

According to Mobo manual, 2F code is related to memory but according to AMI list,
"Error Code – 2F
AMI (2F)EGA/VGA not found. Display memory R/W test about to begin" not sure which one is corrected.

little help sifus are needed...

My spec as my sig:

i7 2600K,
Asrock Z68 Extreme 4,
Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz,CL9
X25M SSD
Leadtek GTX570
Seasonic X-850

*i did try run the ram at 1333 with multiplier 38, still no post... even with 1 stick or ram.

Cant get the reason why it can boot normally when no OC but slight change make no post.... And it was fine before i swap....haiz....
