Hi,

Every now and then, I've been getting this annoying notification on the notification bar since yesterday. When i click on it, a browser will pop-up with some weird IP and nothing show up.

My wireless is OFF, and i'm not trying to connect to any wireless point. I can still access 3G/internet with the notification staying there or by swiping away the notification.

Is this something to do with telco Maxis?

External Hard Drive Password Protect

Guys,

I'm looking for a security software (not sure if there is any) that each time when u plug in the external hard drive to the usb port, it will prompt to enter password. After entering the password, u'll have full access to the content of the hard drive. And it must work the same on any other laptops or desktops without have to install any software in that particular comp first.

Most of the software i found comes with encryption which i do not want. I just want a simple security which only prompt for password each time the external hdd is plugged in. Thanks alot to those that able to help out

Problem description: I bought this modem/router 4 days ago, and the ADSL Led was not on, not even blinking at all. My Streamyx line is not fixed yet since i just apply for it last week. As i know, even if there is no DSL line available, the ADSL Led should be blinking showing it is aquiring DSL signal right? But mine is totaly not lit up and status Led is blinking (indicating normal right?). My previous adsl modem (aztech)'s ADSL Led is blinking even there is no DSL line available.

I need some help here. I've done a simple Java System (Library System) using NetBeans. It has the functions of create/edit/delete/search accounts. Currently all data in the accounts are stored in arrays. The requirement for my project is to store it in a database (MS Access) which i've no idea how to link it and which part to modify the arrays so that all data are stored in the database (MS Access). Paging File Size

I just upgrade my RAM from 512MB to 1GB. I would like to know how much should i set for the Initial Size and Maximum Size. Currently i set it to:

Initial Size: 1524MB
Maximum Size: 1524MB

I get to know that i should set the Initial Size to 1.5 times the RAM and Maximum Size to 3 times the RAM. Does that mean i should set it to:

Initial Size: 1536MB
Maximum Size: 3072MB

And also, how much should i set for 512MB RAM (my second rig). Thanks

Clean Laptop LCD

Can i use alcohol (cassette head cleaner) to clean my laptop's LCD screen? Will it do any harm to the screen? Can i use it with anti-static cloth (the one used to wipe spectacles) ? Thanks
