Hi fellow Lyn F&F,

Currently my car running on PS4s tire with 245/35/19 size all round.
Being said the front set tire in due for replacement, budget wise around RM500-1000 per donut

I have survey via online considering other different brand and option around available.
The purpose would be definitely sporty drive for daily and weekend.

Shortlisted a few so far below, which one worth to try?

1) Michelin PS4s / PS4 (stick back same or might go for lower range)
2) Yokohoma Advan Fleva
3) Dunlop Sport Maxx 050
4) Nexen NFera SU1
5) Pirelli Dragon Sport
6) Falken Azenis FK510
7) Continental MC6
8) Toyo TR1

Appreciate kind input from you guys, as thus far only experienced with PS4s for this size tire.
I do have fair experience with other brand different type of tire in particular but smaller sizes.
Which is Hankook V12 Evo2, Yokohama BlueEarth, Kumho PS31, Michelin XM2.

[WTA] Vacuum Tube preamp distortion

Hi fellow LYN audiophile's,

I have bought a vacuum tube pre-amp comes with a pair 6J1 basic tube.
The amp itself does have adjustable volume knob only.

While music playback I've tried crank up the volume 12 o'clock position and distortion sound appeared on right output channel.
There is no distortion sound problem if lower down volume knob around 9-11 range.

Is that normal for tube preamp cannot be driven past beyond 12 o'clock range?

Pardon me, this is my 1st tube amp equipment.

Hi,

I have found common Michelin XM2 & Goodyear Duraplus for this size of tyre.
But is there any other good rubber for 185/60/14?

I've seen Bridgestone MY-02, have this size, is it good?
My car currently on Pirelli P6, thread is getting lesser & plan for change.

Hi,

I'm having problem with pc display.
When i connect my pc graphic card into 32" LCD tv through (dvi to hdmi) cable.
Output display appeared black screen flashing every 3-6 seconds interval.
anyone know how to solve da problem?
i've done few troubleshoot....problem still persist.

cable checked = working
dvi connect to monitor lcd = working

help appreciated

i would like to build a new rig...
but i'm already have an Asus M3A with AMD 770 + SB600 chipset mobo.
but i dunno which proc to match with....i do have a list....

1) Athlon X2 5600+
2) Athlon X2 6000+
3) Athlon X2 7750+ Black Edition

my purposed for this rig more capable to do mild gaming and overclockable in future.....

i'm having some problem whenever try to install some of the game....
it will show up "cylic reduncancy error" or something like that....sometimes even hang when on idle....
it sign indicated my hard drive got bad sector?

coz my router behaving strangely,whenever switch OFF then turn ON back....all da setting restored to factory default setting....now i can't even access da router to configure back.....
since it has lifetme warranty and bought from PC zone in LYP 2 years ago.......

To all notebook user,

I would like to do a survey about notebook cooler that we used to heard most of the time.
But as usual those aftermarket notebook cooler has same method operation,mostly plugged into USB & directly ON and some does equipped switch button.

The reason i'm create a poll to find out does notebook user prefer normal method or a notebook cooler with sensor? (for my own project)

How does this Notebook Cooler with sensor work?

Alrite,let me explain with simple way.
this cooler pad equipped with a sensor inside cooler pad itself.
firstly,still you'll need to plug in USB to get power supply from notebook.
and to make things work, this sensor will detect (present/presence) of the notebook itself.
it will turn "ON" when your notebook placed on cooler pad.
once your notebook takeaway from that cooler pad,it turn "OFF" itself (cooler fan stop running)

Hi,
i have 1 unit of NAD 306 Stereo Amp.
currently malfunctioned.....this is how happened...
back in few year ago, when listening music.
suddenly shut off itself and i noticed got some smell of burned which i suspect fuse got burned.
try my luck by replaced a set of fuse, when turn it ON same thing happened.
asked few electronic repair shop, they quote me RM3++ to made it alive bac
since then, decide to put on hold for repair it......untill now da amp is sitting inside box for more than 6 year.

to forumer/NAD owner,
i need some idea/advice.
where can i send it for repair?
if possible, anyone noe which shop mostly repair NAD amplifier with reasonable price?

hi,
currently i got this Asus M3A mobo which got some problem with RAM slot....
so i'm thinking to RMA, but da problem where can i send it to RMA?
i when to Asus Service Centre but they dun provide RMA service for desktop mobo......
they asked me referred bac to reseller.....worst come to worst....i duno this is from which reseller coz on mobo it doesn't had any reseller sticker on it....receipt also dun have.....

now i'm stuck with this.....

currently i'm facing this problem,
after successful first boot up....whenever i try to restart or shut down to turn it ON again...it won't boot up...
every hardware is working fine except da hard disk.
the only way, i have to OFF power supply from electricity poin,and then ON again only can boot up da hard disk.

i'm using 2.5 60GB hard disk with 3.5 converter adapter on my rig as a alternative instead normal 3.5 hard disk...

p/s: my hard disk is 100% working condition...

PC won't boot up...

as mentioned on topic....

now i'm facing these problem......
when i hit da "ON" button......da pc won't start or boot up.....
after 30-40 seconds approx. only it start.....
i've checked through all cable,connection from PSU to all component parts...
all intact & connected properly....
now i'm really had no idea what is da main caused....

could it be :

1)PSU problem?
2)MOBO gonna dead?
3)tiny batt placed inside MOBO weaked?
4)Hard drive?

anyone mind to enlighten me some detail bout those similar symptom their experience??
