Windows 12 launching in Q4-2025 ?

There is no direct evidence about Windows 12 release. However, based on some indirect evidence like Microsoft still not officially announced 25H2 version of Windows 11 and rumored about NV/AMD/Mediatek are going to release their ARM SoC supporting Windows on Arm make me think Microsoft is going to announce major release of Windows 12 to focus on features on ARM plattform.

Here are leaks about upcoming ARM APU from Qualcomm, NV, AMD and Mediatek:

The specs are not final, but from I see, the performance going to surpass x86 platform.

For those who is thinking about buying WoA notebook, my recommendation is wait until end of the year and see what's in store

5G smartphones are getting popular and cheaper. Since I am looking to upgrade my smartphone, I have made a comparison chart to compare each offering from Honor, Redmi, Realme and Samsung. Here is my verdict, the results might surprise you...And I hope my findings will help you guys who are shopping for affordable 5G phone.

Not Recommending 5G Phones

Redmi 13C and Realme 11x/12x are not getting my recommendation since both are lowly specs and high price.

Recommendation 5G phones

The newly launched Honor X7b 5G phone @ RM899 is getting my thumb up due to big display, camera sensor and battery size. Dual speakers might not sound loud but at least we can hear stereo playback. The only issue is how long Honor going to provide Android OS support.

At first, I have omitted Samsung brand due to my memory about high price image. After checking, Samsung Galaxy A25 might be the winner in the 5G smartphone. A25 with Exynos 1280 comes with 2 x Cortex-A78 (D6000 series come with 2 x Cortex-A76), Super AMOLED, dual useful cameras and stereo speakers. Samsung also provides much better Android OS support. Not to mention you could find much better price than SRP RM1,099.

Four months after Black Shark 2 announcement, here comes the Pro version with newer SoC, Snapdragon 855 Plus. What surprise me is sharp drop of pricing with 12GB RAM and UFS3.0 storage as standard. Guess Xiaomi also feel the pressure from Asus ROG 2 Tencent phone

Black Shark 2 Pro comes with 2 version: 12GB +128GB for CNY2999 and 12GB+256GB for CNY3499. The retail price of 128GB version is same as Mi9 with 6+128 version show how crazy the price would be. Now waiting for Black Shark to officially release it in Malaysia, don't buy the non-pro version unless costs less than RM2,000
