Wrong Register to Bumi Lot

Hi all sifu,

I purchased one double storey terrace house and sign the S&P at 12/06/2016.
Then I received the VP from developer at 10/04/2019 but lawyer told me that my name no able to transfer yet due to the title is bumi lot.
I contact developer and they answer me that Pejabat Tanah wrong register the title to Bumi lot. Now they are in the progress to release to non bumi lot but no able tell me how long time need to take.
Then I request to cancel the VP but they said VP can be issue once get CCC although the title is not ready.
I ask advise from my lawyer but they seen like not really help me because they are the property lawyer also.

I go Tribunal Tuntutan Pembeli Rumah but they only cover late delivery and house defect issue.
Then I send email to Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan to complain the developer but they advise me to check with Pejabat Tanah Negeri for my issue.

Now this issue already pass half year but I no receive any update from developer.
I would like to ask do I have the right to request developer cancel the VP since my title has problem?
If no, then I only have the option to wait the title change back to non-bumi which maybe take a few year?

Note: My bank had paid 97.5% to developer and only left 2.5% no release yet.

Help! Regarding Delivery of Vacant Possession

Hi all Shi Fu here, I wanna ask the developer whether can issue the delivery of vacant possession if my title has problem?
Developer said Pejabat Tanah wrong register the title to Bumi lot. Now they are in the progress to release to non Bumi lot but no able to answer me how long time need to take.
Besides, they said the delivery of vacant possession can be issue once they get CCC although the title is not ready.
