Camera shop for lighting accessories?

Does anyone know a brick and mortar shop (not online) around the KL/Selangor area that sells stuff like softboxes,, reflectors, umbrellas, color gels, remote shutters?

I've tried Sungei Wang, Times Square, and Lowyat. They don't seem to sell anything beyond lenses and camera bodies.

To Photoshop or Not To

Are there photographers in here who outright refuse to meddle in post processing? (not including crop)

I'm not talking about photoshopping objects away and making people thinner, but tweaking with values and tones (saturation, exposure etc)

As for myself, I'm still learning the basics of composition AND light settings purely from the camera, but sometimes I shoot in RAW just so I don't have to worry too much about colors

About Apple Care, and resale value with ACPP

I bought my Macbook in February, so around the end of the year (yeah I am aware it's still abit early to be talking about this, but what the heck) I plan on getting Apple Care for the MB from Machines. Wanna know from you guys what to do if you've got , eh, pirated software in your harddisk like say Office or LightRoom.

Does Machines check?

=/ Cos if that's the case I'd better swap out the harddisk with an empty one in the very unfortunate possibility that I need to send it in for repair...

Will Machines reapply thermal paste for me?

I'm not too sure if it's just my MB (purchased a month ago from Machines SP) but sometimes the base gets a little too hot for comfort.

From haunting mac sites it seems that there's something wrong with the application of thermal paste, and can be fixed by ourselves, but we would have to void the warranty.

Wondering if it's possible to go to Machines with a tube of AS5 in hand, and ask them to apply for me (after complaining about the heat) without voiding my 1 year warranty. Has anyone done this?

I love using my MB on the lap, but not at the cost of becoming sterile.

02 XDAIIi for MMS?

I posted this at the handphone section, but this place seems more suitable.

I recently got an 02XDAIIi, but I can't seem to use MMS.

When I went to Maxis.com, then hotlink, my pda wasn't in the list to choose from.

Anyone knows how to activate MMS for my PDA? I'm using Maxis(012) on prepaid.

02 XDAIIi for MMS?

I recently got myself an 02XDAIIi(pic).

It's not 3G supporting, but it's not like I need it anyway.

But I wanna use MMS. And each time I try sending one, it'll say no network detected or something like that.

I'm using Maxis, so I tried going to the website and register for MMS.

But my phone isnt in their list to choose from.

Does this mean I definitely can't use MMS? I need some help...
