Received a phone call from 03-2178 8888, claiming to be from Ambank credit card saying that I got a pending transaction of RM4k and need me to press 1 to validate something. It was purely a scam since I never use Ambank, and the English use is just like chinaman English. I just let it keep repeating the recorded message until it hung up (about 5 minute) so they need to pay more for the phone call.

Anyone else got the same phone call?

Budget Receiver with DTS

Hi all sifu... My receiver (kenwood vr6070) just partially died on me, the dts function didn't work at all. Although it may be repairable, I think it is a good excuse to get myself a new receiver. But sadly my budget is quite tight.

Is there any reasonably priced receiver I can get with rm1k budget? (please don't laugh at my budget... )

Power Invest Fixed Deposit

Hi everyone. Just back from withdrawing at PB and there I saw one ads that caught my attention. The Power Invest Fixed Deposit from PB. Doesn't have time to read it thoroughly but from its say you can use your unit trust account to open an overdraft account which then can be put in FD, or something like that. So, does anyone knows this?

Laptop repair

I have some problem with my DELL laptop. Somehow it cannot power on. I suspect mainboard failure. Anyone know how or any good place to fix it. FYI it already passed the warranty period.
