Close utilities account under deceased name

Guys , I just sold property under my name (inherited from my late grandmother)
After lawyer settle the outstanding payment , they told me to go to tnb/sains to manually close account .
Both utilities bill under her name , the probate doesn’t mention about the utilities

How can I close this , can it be done submitting thru online ?
Anyone here can share experience ?

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to buy a house using some inheritance money from my parents. I have enough cash to pay for the whole thing, but I’ve been advised to consider taking a loan instead.

Here’s the scoop:

Status: I was a freelancer for a long time before I worked with a company for a year, but I quit in March 2024
Debts: I have a roughly RM20k car loan and a CIMB credit card ( uptodate auto paymeny )
Bank Relation : I’m a CIMB Preferred account holder.
Credit: My CTOS and CCRIS are both clean.
LHDN: Never submitted before 2022

I’m considering paying 50-60% of the property amount as a deposit. The reason I want to put down such a large deposit is to avoid using all of my inheritance money at once, preserving some of it for future needs or investments.

If I pay this large deposit upfront, would it increase my chances of getting a loan from the bank? Will the bank still consider approving my loan under these conditions?

BTW , property valued around 500k

Any tips or advice would be really helpful!

Hi guys need small help to identify a problem which just occurs after installing the setup

With the setup installed , was about to do the tuning , and I suddenly heard a loud ‘pop’ coming out from speaker or maybe amp and suddenly the car feels like voltage drop where the rpm went down around 400 and raise back again . And I notice the amp started to smoke and thank god me able to quickly cut the switch off (main battery) .

I just let it cool down the next day I opened up the amp and I notice there’s few transistor fries which I googled it’s the mosfet controller . Not really sure internet jargon in that foreign website but can anyone address me

1/ What could possible went wrong before the tuning and made then transistor to fry ?
2/ Could it be overload from alternator (70a) ?
3/ for the test I didn’t fuse the 12v cable from battery ,could it be some sort of overload to the amp

Hi guys ,

Theres a small question needed some wide suggestion , I'm currently running on 2 channel passive system (Boston) + 1 channel mono block powered on Alpine x100 .
My friend let me to test his pxah100 on my player since its support external imprint , I can hear significant sound improve overall with a little minor tuning we did .

Since its a old model signal processor , I found on net theres now amplifier that has build in DSP .
The normal random brand I came across was from Blaupunkt / Nakamichi and Pegasus and knock of China .

The question is ;

1) Do you think its worth it to just get external SP like H100 rather then build in DSP .
2) Referring to build in amp with DSP , why are those extra channel till 8 of them .

Im not sure how well this can cope up with overall performance but I think I have to upgrade for better sound staging .

Please advise .

Flexible Copper Cable as Power Cable

Dear Icer ,

Would like to get recommendation on powering up a 1000w 4
Channel amp using flexible copper cable .
The reason why, current audio cable (red jacket) that been selling outside has very poor pvc jacket and I found my previous 8awg wire pvc jacket tend to harden and crack under the hood engine heat .
I notice welding copper cable provide better insulation and a quick google search found many foreign website recommend using welding copper cable (flexible type) but I’m not sure how efficient it would be .

1 / would it be sufficient provide better current flow to the amp on 5 meter length cable ?

2/ should I be consider getting higher amp rating means more good ?

3/ what’s the min awg /amp I can use for at least .

1/ OFC vs CCA , should I worry about 2 type material ?

Temporary Passport To Thailand

Hi , I just lost my passport and today I went to Immigration Department Putrajaya they said since I have validity they need me to do surat akuan sumpah at court and the process to renew will take 5 workings days . But I need to be in Thailand (Hatyai) tomorrow afternoon . When I asked the officer in charge they said can provide temporary passport (some letter) , I'm not sure if Thai Immigration will allow this .

Anyone have any experience on this ? please advise asap .

Guys ,any workshop around Selangor & Kl able to solve this issue on my car ?
I went to tyre shop near my place they had special tool , they hammer it and try to twist turn within 2 minutes say cannot take out .

At the moment , I'm trying my lvl best to avoid oxy welding it .

Hi guys , would like to ask on matters , my iPhone 6s which I brought from Maxis under Zerolution program 4 month ago , I encounter this morning where the power button is stuck can depress back . Anyone encounter the similar problem ?

I barely use any case for my phone , impossible it could be with any dust stuck on contact point .

I still remember during signing the contact with maxis , I asked them about the warranty for the phone , they urged me to direct go thru Apple service centre which I'm confused by now.

So shall I just walk in to apple care or to maxis Hq ?
