Hi all,

I need your guys opinion.

On 30 May 2018,
I have bought a phone from a well-known seller.
Before I visit the seller, we communicated via WhatsApp.
In the WhatsApp conversation, the representative said no GST and the actual billing no GST even I buy before 1st Jun 2018.
Hence, I bought the phone.

On the 1st June 2018,
The seller announced lowered the pricing to around 6%+-, stated "No more GST" via social media.
I felt curious what they can lower the price immediately on 1st Jun 2018 even no GST before that. Check back the 'actual invoice', although it stated 0% GST, it's not the actual tax invoice issued to me coz the 'tax invoice' don't have required information such as company registration number, company name and GST registration number.

Of coz, I satisfied the phone itself. However, I feel i got cheated. Few buyers around the shop bought different phones as well.

So, I need you suggestion on what should I do:
1.) Check and confront the seller
2.) Report to Custom that the seller didn't issue actual tax invoice to customer?
3.) Report to Custom that the seller mislead and cheating during GST transition period?
4.) Report to Consumer court that the seller mislead and cheating their customer?
5.) Write a long complaint in social media and tag the seller.

The evidences I got in hand:
1.) Screenshot of our WhatsApp conversation stated "no GST" and the "no GST price of the phone" on 30 May 2018
2.) Screenshot of latest price that the seller announced in the social media.
3.) The so call 'actual invoice' without stated company registration number, without company name and without GST number.

Not a big amount of money but I think the seller shouldn't mislead buyer in any scenario.

Update 7/6/18: Pending refund differences from the seller.

Hi all,

I had bought a 19 years old house recently. Planning to renovate now.

However, I had submitted the necessary documents to MPSJ except CF.

The officer told me that i must submit the CF in order for MPSJ to approve for renovation.

No CF obtain during S&P and bank loan period as they're not mandatory.

How can I get CF in this case?
