<WTA>DIY external dock for tablet (idea)

Dear all sifus, would like to ask sifu here to comment on my idea of making an external dock for my windows 8 (i5) tablet. The dock will consist of the following items:-
1. 2.5" hard disk
2. external dvd writer
3. lan to usb port
4. 4 port hub with power supply input
5. A 10000mAh "Taobao" battery pack.

I am thinking to connect all usb devices into the hub. Then connect the power supply input from the hub into the battery pack. The battery pack is to ensure the hard disk and the dvd writer will have enough power instead of reliying on the usb port on my tablet. Since the battery pack have two usb output for charging, so the another port will be used to charge my android phone or other device later. All the device will glue or tighten in a rack or a diy casing later. To use this dock, I just need to connect my only one usb port from my tablet into the usb hub and it will read all the connected devices.

So my question are:-
1. Is the power supply enough to power all the devices when all devices are running simultaneously?
2. Is the power supply enough to power up all the devices if I added a few more 2.5" hdd?
3. Is the data transfer speed will be a problem later on? Since there are 3 devices that need data transfer (hard disk, dvd writer and lan)

Thanks in advance for any sifus that can give constructive idea and comments.

[addedon]November 15, 2012, 8:51 pm[/addedon]No comments yet?

[addedon]November 17, 2012, 9:22 pm[/addedon]Looks like lowyat forumer can't give any technical comments on this.
