Apple store student discount & warranty

Hi there all dai kos,

I would like to ask if anyone knows if the macbook/mbp/mba buy from apple education store malaysia comes with free 3 years warranty as well?
The reason for asking is, I'm currenty in the UK, buying thru UK education store will gives u slight discount of the laptop, but you get a standard 3 years hardware warranty (does not include phone support). If you still want apple care, you only add £47.

you wont really need the phone support unless you are completely a noob, in short, 3 years hardware warranty is enuf.

However, I cant seem to find this issue here on LYN nor apple malaysia website. Can anyone call them up and ask?
If there is such hardware warranty, you could potentially save the RM700+ apple care money!

Here's more story, after comparing the cheapest MBP, malaysia is abt RM3599 with student disc, UK is £858 (RM4200). But if malaysia's educational price does not come with extended warranty and therefore need to purchase apple care, it turns out almost same price den.

To "unbrick" an iPod Touch or iPhone, use the below instructions:

i tried this and now my iphone cannot be turned on .

this morning i installed few new apps like customize, bsd, i sim , summerboard and somemore.
after that my ipod function is not working= totally no sound coming out from my iphone . music . cannot play and no sound .
movie , cannot play
ringer, no sound
calls , i cant hear ppl talking

so i decided to restore it and unlock it again .
i tried and now my iphone cant on ..

pls suggest me wad to do .

hi i would like to buy an iphone here now . but the problem is . im going uk probably this year september..
i heard that iphone that is unlocked cannot use the internet there. as iphone can online everywhere using O2 .
anybody can help me with this question ? urgent . thanks...
