My Rig boot problem

Hi, guys, recently my rig having some weird problem when boot up. When I power on the pc, it wont boot, but everything works fine, the processor fan, GPU fan all are running fine. Just that the screen wont appear any boot sequence info (e.g. normally after we on pc the screen will 1st display wad graphic card and chipset been using then turn into boot info then just Win XP logo loading and so on) The motherboard also dont have any beep sounds.

But more weird is after i restart it, all things works fine like normal. But if I power off it, then power on again, it wont boot as normal also until i press the restart button. For easy reading, my spec as below:

Intel C2D E8400
Gigabyte EP35-DS3 ver 2.1
Kingston DDR 800 1GB x2
Seagate SATA II 250 GB, WD SATA 200 GB
Viewsonic 1930wm 19"Widescreen LCD
XFX 9600GT XT 512MB XXX (700m)
BenQ DVD ROM, BenQ1670 DVD RW
CM Real Power 450w PSU
CM cm690 Casing

Window XP Pro SP2

Hope any expert out there can help me solve the problem as I scare keep restart will shorten the hardware life.

My current AMD rig almost dying coz of the mobo already got some sot sot problem...... spec as shown in my sig

so i decided to change the majority part or can b consider buy a new system la... but i damn long time didnt lepak around PC DIY info... so need some comments for the rig i planned to build. I need the new pc for doing freelance like web design, graphic design, video editing, gaming and of coz surfing. My budget is better dont rili over RM2400, no need LCD, no need burner, hard disk can get a new one, or can jux use back the old hdd, it's flexible for hard disk.

Some friends recommend me take ATI 3650 instead of 8600GT, hmm i still thinking about this, cos once think of ATI driver issue make me worry... so i need some comments from all sifus here...

PC suddenly hang (URGENT)

Hi all, i need u guys help me about my problem.
my pc before format will suddenly hang without any notice, so i though because i just kena 1 trojan (removed already) mayb the trojan delete some of my files. So i format again n instal a new fresh copy of windows. But after i reinstall, and update my antivirus database.. it still hang jux now. When hang, the task manager show that my CPU usage is 100%.

then the whole system damn damn lag.... as i jux finish install the windows, and update the virus definition, i dun think i wil kena any virus or trojan again. I using Kaspersky antivirus.

could it bcoz of i jux change my VGA card?? i'm using Leadtek Winfast A7600GS now, but i didnt use driver by leadtek, i only install the driver from nVidia.

So, anyone can help me??? i posting dis topic by using my fren laptop.... pls, i need solve it urgently before i go singapore on tomorrow.
