This company, based in Subang Jaya, is involved in Network Engineering & ICT Solutions and also Interior Design and Furniture Supply.

With a current staff strength of 15 or so, and 4 projects on hand, the company is small yet performing well. Average staff retention is 2.8 years. The Company is now on its 4th year.

The Managing Director is looking for an Executive Assistant whose primary function is to assist in his day to day business.

Executive assistant

Speaks/writes English well. Mandarin a bonus.

Degree in business or related industry.

Comprehension must be first class. Smart and quick thinking. Effective communicator and able to socialise well. Understand numbers well and tech savvy is a bonus. Good taste in design and decor.

Main task to assist MD in day to day running of business. To note down all communication inter staff and company and pursue the matter till conclusion and update MD regularly.

Secondary duty to assist in any other tasks.

Must be able to travel. Must be able to work weekends and odd hours at times.

Single female Chinese preferred. All races are welcome, our company do not practice Racism. But the work may require travel to China on occasion and we need fluent Mandarin speakers.

Starting probation salary 2.5-3k. Depending on ability and commitment may go to 4-5k. Others case to case basis.

Dear forumers

A word of warning if you're looking for an accounting software. Stick to known brands like myob.

If you feel like trying out a local but unknown software like the above, you might get sucked into the biggest sinkhole ever.

First this software cannot change accounting period. If change must pay 600-900 ringgit.
But of course you change it, your payroll also must change, charge the same.
Anything you need to change be prepared to pay more and more...

You may start out cheaper 1k then other software but in the end you will keep paying thousands more... Because nothing also you can change yourself.

I've opted to switch to MYOB instead, if I ever see the guy that sell me this piece of junk...

Guys,

Warriors Orochi 3, 8.5 from IGN is out and has been for awhile now. Aside from the regular beat as many bosses and cannon fodder you can find, it has 2 important additions. One is networked play which has a higher chance of rewarding you with crystals (rare currency). The next is Musao battlefield which allows anyone to create battlefield settings and scenario and share it with other people.

The purpose of this thread is for anyone to share info, tricks and tips. But also to register users for online gameplay.

Looking for programmers

Hi guys,

I might be posting in the wrong thread, but I'm looking for programmers specifically.

Anyone with experience developing software from scratch? Need to develop an access control engine and interface and later on to develop a complete building management system including video recording engine and interface, fire alarm interface and etc.

US PSN Cards

I hear the PSN cards are on sale at blockbuster and some other obscure places like gas stations and such. I don't know whats the premium attached to the cards, but I'm planning to buy some for myself since entropay don't work no more for new accounts.

I'm willing to buy for any LYN members (especially those whom i've dealt with before) provided its up front cash (either US or RM with the exchange rate built in).

Anyone with more info on how to get these cards and how much they cost pls give me a heads up.

I just installed it and someone was saying that some guys are having their ps3 bricked because of this update. A quick check at PSN singapore reveals the following:

We have been reported from a limited number of PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) users that XMB™(XrossMediaBar) is not displayed after updating to the PS3™ system software ver. 2.40. We have temporarily taken system software ver. 2.40 off line and are currently conducting investigations to determine the cause of this problem. We will announce through our website as soon as we are ready to resume the system software update.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate for your understanding.

Great... just great.

Hopefully nothing happens to my beloved ps3 in the meantime.

Pls help - Diskspace being eaten up

This happened to me once, but i managed to track it to Windows/temp folder and saw some files which were eating up space that wasn't supposed to be there. I deleted it all and problem solved.

Now its back. My C drive says it has 29.2GB Capacity and 945mb free space (this is 80gb partitioned to two drives.). The thing is, this free space is reducing bit by bit and I don't know where. I checked each folder (windows, Docs and Settings, Program Files etc) and so far the number of files and size doesn't change even though when I check C again, it is definitely running out of space.

Please help!!

I'm using Avast antivirus and Spydoctor (unregistered) for protection.

I tried system restore to earlier date but no luck, its still losing space.
