Asus TUF VG27AQ Flickering

So I bought the monitor just before CNY and I got to use it over the holidays. Problem is, I'd get randomly get different sections of the screen flicker for less than a second at random times and this happens rarely. It's not a full screen flicker but a partial screen flicker and it's not always on the same spot. I have 2 monitors including this, the other monitor is a Dell 1440p 60hz monitor.

Troubleshooting that I've done:

- Tried a different Display Port Cable
- Plugged into other DP inputs on my GPU (1080ti)
- Lowered the refresh rate to 120hz and 100hz
- Turned of G-Sync (Thought this was G-Sync flicker issue)

The seller has asked me to do the probably impossible thing which is to show up video or picture proof of the flicker. Is there anything I can do in case the seller refuses to do anything for me?

Building a rig for gaming & streaming

I'd like some suggestions on what I should get for a rig that will be used for gaming and streaming on twitch. I won't be streaming PC games most of the time since I stream console games instead. My current PC died yesterday and I think it was time to replace that old rig.

CPU: Need suggestion or i5/i7 or maybe even AMD

GPU: I'm recycling my r9 280x from my old rig so no need for one

MoBo: Really need a recommendation for this. Must have USB3.0

RAM : 8gb or 16gb

Storage: Some SSD brand recommendations would be nice. Was using a 60gb Corsair and I'm looking to upgrade to either 128gb or 256gb. As for HDD, I think 3TB would suffice.

Power Supply: Yet another item I really need recommendations. Other than those parts listed above, I have a Blackmagic Intensity Pro PCIe video capture card as well.

Casing: Looking for something simple and budget around RM200. Cooler Master maybe? Preferably with 3-4 USB2.0 slots infront.

Any help and/or suggestions would be nice. Preferably keep it RM3000 or below. Thanks in advance.

High Definition Video Capture Cards

I've been using a cheapo analogue video capture card that supports S-Video and Composite for years now for making videos of the games I play on my consoles. Since youtube has implemented HD option last year, I would like to switch to a digital video capture card that has HD inputs such as HDMI and Component and be able to capture videos in HD.

Does anyone know what type of HD capture cards should I get and if they sell those in local stores, preferably in KL?

So, which Dual Shock 3 color do you prefer?

My silver Dual Shock 3 arrived yesterday and I really liked it. I wanted a silver PS3 from the start but Sony only released Black during launch so I pretty much had to go with a black console

Sorry, my table is messy so I had to clear some space for the joypads.
