How to go about asking for quotation

I'm told by my developer that I bought a house from, that VP is in a month's time. I am looking to engage an ID for renovation. However, I'm not sure how the discussion should go when asking for quotation to compare prices. Some that I've asked seemed to want me to lock/book with them because they would ge occupied if I'm late. But I do want to get a quote before I do that. Is this common? Is there no room to compare quotation before committing for a company before VP is given?

Bumper scratch repaintable or need to replace?

I have a 2017 honda city. Common issue with working in Klang Valley is you get surprise scratches on the car at the end of a work day. So my bumper paint is scratched/chipped. I was thinking of repairing/repainting/replacing it as I want to sell the car to fund my next car. My questions are:

1. Looking at the damage, which is the possible solution - repaint/replace?
2. What would be the expected cost if repainting is possible including the minor scratch. What is replacement cost like instead?

Monthly tax deduction when share grant is awarded

Hi, a company offered 10200 lot lf shares to be vested in a period of 2 years (50% each) as way to retain talents. My question is on the 2 options for the remittance from IRBM.. One is to declare at the time you do your BE form and another is for remittance to be done on the MTD when the shares are awarded.

Let's say that market price of the share is at rm 2.50 at the time the shares are vested.. And assume 50% is awarded.. How much RM will be deducted from monthly salary (let's put it at RM 5000 for the sake of this calculation) of the idiot who chose the second option instead of thr first one. Hope somebody can help me anticipate the damage.

P. S. HR is saying I cant change the remittance option once i've ticked and signed the offer letter..although vesting date is still months away. Guess it's due to IRBM by law or something.

AES Summon and court hearing

Hi,

I got caught speeding on AES camera in September, and I found it out in October in MYEG. Swiftly paid it out then and there. Last week, got the letter saying I need to attend court hearing in december. Since I've paid for it, I don't need to attend the hearing am i correct?

Need your experiences to clarify. Thanks

Hi peeps,

Got a question. I'm planning on selling my Nissan Sentra and there was one used car guy who made a statement which is confusing for me.

The thing is I bought the car second hand from a used car center myself 3 years back. So did all the pertukaran nama, milikan and such..and due to the road tax column being full, I was given a "new geran" at the time.

When I met the used car guy, after checking and such, he looked at the geran and asked for the geran that was not under my name. the one with only the previous owner's name.

Is this really necessary in getting the transaction done. Why wouldn't the new geran suffice. Just need to know if it's truly necessary for me to go to JPJ with the old owner as such, or from visiting the used car centre that I bought the car from.

I hope you experienced peeps can help clear this up for me.
