WTA about Homeplug

I'm facing unstable wifi nowadays and decide to go for homeplug / powerline ethernet and i have some questions to ask.

My internet is 10mbps and i found out that homeplug with 200mbps & 500mbps price range is close but will that make any differences?

Another thing is using cheap LAN cable or quality LAN cable is better or make no differences?
