Hello sifu/lengchai/lenglui,

Really in desperate need of help here. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that my computer would not need a reformat. My files! Haha.

Ok here's the problem, i wanted to off my pc and then it went to a screen which says installing windows updates. All of a sudden while installing those updates my house had a power failure! So yeah, after power came back, on back my comp and guess what? My pc just won't load windows.

The boot menu would appear, but right after that, the menu which says windows wasn't shut down properly and so on. The 'start windows in safe mode' menu appeared. And either i start windows normally, safe mode and even last known working configuration, it just won't load windows. It'll restart... go back into the same menu...

What has happened? Hope sum1 can guide me through this. I'm using windows xp sp2 btw...

Thanks a million!

DDR2 Reads as Single Channel!

Hey guys, any other problem to be fixed and clarified right after my graphic card problem which is unfortunately not fixed! OMG. Dunno whats wrong la. Haha. Ok, back to today's problem.

I have 2 x 1GB DD2 RAM's in my computer. Running on Asus M2N E-SLi Motherboard. Being said, the RAM should be running on Dual-Channels right? But the problem is the BIOS and CPUZ reads it as 'SINGLE CHANNEL'!!

The Ram --> Kingston KVR667D2N5/1G

Whats the problem? Is this normal? All this while i really thought that dd2 means dual-channel. Even the manual says it's dual channel.

Below is the screen-shot of what i meant :

Need Help on HU..

Hi guys, this is my first time posting in here in F&F. I have a little confusion with my Proton Saga car CD-player. I had just installed a clarion hu yesterday by myself. I'm not sure what model is it. This is my problem:

I managed to save those radio stations into the unit's memory which is located in the numbers 1-6. Example -> 95.9 into (1) and 92.9 into (2). The problem arises that when i turn off my car engine, and start it back a few moments later, those pre-setted memory which i had saved will be gone! Then will have to save it again.

I hope what i've said is clear enough and all the sifu here could help in.

Thanks!

Trouble Burning DVD

Hi guys, i'm not sure if this is the right place to open this thread but just hope that every1 could help me out a little here.

My problem:

I got this stacks of DVD-RW from my uncle. So he wants me to help him put all into a few DVD-R for storage. The weird problem starts when i see the file as MPEG but when i want to burn it becomes a .VOB file.

Next, because there are alot of disk so the name of the files are all identical to each other (he's using a DVD camcorder) . So NERO thinks that it's the same file and says the file is already there. So i tried renaming it, but to my dismay it still won't work.

Guys, please lend me a little help here?? Hope that the way i related my problem is not too confusing. Thanks alot...
