Dlink DL-524UP Wireless Router Cannot Power On

Guys,
I really need some help here. Yesterday when I got back home I discovered my router was off. I tried plugging it back in and all but still the same. So I guess it's either the router or the power adapter.

I don't know how to identify which one is the problem. Can we buy the power adapter anywhere? How to find out how to know whether the problem is my router or the power adapter.

I am using a Dell Inspiron 640M for 2.5 years more or less. The problem that I face now is that the battery is not charging. Is it the adapter or the battery problem? I hope the sifu's here could help me in my problem.

Thanks in advanced.
