I know that there are websites such as CIDB that you can check the project awarded to Main Contractor, but is there one for M&E Consultant?

Problem detecting external hard disk

Hi,

My desktop can't detect my external hard disk when i plug it in (it can detect the external but i cannot access the drive). I did not have this problem when i connect the external to my laptop.

When i try to access it using my desktop, these came out :

H:/ refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on the hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it is still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location.

What might be the problem? Pls help. Thanks.....

Problem with streamyx or my account?

I subscribed to streamyx basic 1Mbps (streamyx in a box) one week ago and when I tried to activate my account through tm net installer it says my username and password do not match ..the username given to me by the streamyx agent is xxxxx but the cd installer have xxxxx@streamyx at the back of the username..I called tm hotline and they told me that my account already activate and ask me no need install the cd and use windows xp dialler instead..

So i proceed with the windows xp dialler, but the problem is the website couldn't load even though I can log in the internet using the streamyx password..can't even open websites such as google..

What can possibly be the problem? Pls help me...so frustrated right now..

MSI 8600GT Zalman?

Recently I bought a new graphic card the MSI 8600GT 256MB DDR3 Zalman Edition, however I couldn't find any reviews on this product in the internet. Does that mean that the heatsink is installed by the PC shop itself and not originally a product from MSI?

Also, my pc states that the card have 512MB memory, but the box only states 256MB. Any explanations from xperts here?

Eventhough its a Zalman, it still runs at 54C idle and 75C under load (Stalker, Age of Empires III), is that normal?
