Wow, new info on Creative Lab marketing strategy on pushing new series of sound cards and speakers. As for the speakers I 've already found out that there are no repairing after warranty but now with the sound card playing with drivers so it causes you to not use older card on Vista that is too much. Now that the rat is out of the bag I personally think that you are playing with us those who loves the XI-FI sound card think twice about when it will be obsolete. Please read this Creative Labs Purposely Obsoletes Old Cards through Drivers? Everyone please feel free to comment.

Its going to be more HATEclub than FANclub.

Buyers Beware of Creative Speaker System

Anyone who has intentions of buying any of Creative Labs Speaker system please check on whether they provide backup service if the speaker is more than 2 years old. From what I experienced, Micro D is the authorised dealer here in Malaysia for Creative Speakers but unfortunately they do not do repairs for any speakers low,mid and high end as there are no spare parts to these prod specially s750 speaker system. The Amp + sub only have live span of 1 1/2 years from what I 've checked in Creative US forum site and I 'm also one of their victim. Don't bother writing in to Creative support site as the customer support will only waste your time by advicing you to get another of their poorly built Amp+ sub speakers and mention that spare parts are EXPENSIVE when they did not even have any tech to check or even quote for the cost of repairs. Saw that Low Yat Plaza is still selling the speakers s750 to another poor victim like me. PLEASE READ this tread for those who wants to get a good Home Theatre before deciding to plunk your hard earn cash for a lemonCreative Lab Forum
