I often help my friend format pc and their pc most of the time come with ori XP Home. but when i try to install using my XP Home cd, the ori cd key couldn't be accepted. from my understanding, it is because of different version of XP Home use by those branded pc manufacturer. what is the exact version use by those company? i need to find the cd...

Problem description: I am sharing a 1Mbps with my 3 other housemate, when 1 of my housemate connect to the network, the internet connection become very laggy. I've check his laptop and only running BitComet 0.82 but there is no torrent that using a lot of bandwidth. Is there anyway i can check in the modem that which software or application that utilizing high bandwidth?

Recently my ex-girlfriend keep on receiving anonymous phone call by telling her what I'm doing here. This consider harassment call and I would like to lodge a police report if this problems keep on occurring.

i would like to know which company offer hiding phone number service? i'll tell the police officer to narrow down the investigation scope.

btw, mostly our h/p cant retrieve any info after we received this type of calls. so do you think telco provider there got any log bout phone calls to specific numbers if a person make the call in hiding number mode?

dear all sifu, I'm in big trouble now as i can't login to my window xp.

i turn off my pc a while when i restart the window xp remain at the login screen there, when i try to enter to my account, it will straight away become log off and it keep repeating at this login screen. i never create any password for my windows and i din turn on any other user account.

1. i don have any other os in the hdd
2. i run subs' flash_disinfactor.exe yesterday(related?)
3. didn't add or remove software recently

what should i do now?

the only main concern is will i able to view my file inside my document if i plug the hdd to another pc to back up all the files? afaik, if a password protected account can't be view in other system.

I purchased the notebook 1 week ago and I've add in another piece of Kingston 512MB DDR2 667Mhz SO-DIMM. AFAIK, I was inform by the technician that this notebook can run dual channel but my laptop now isn't running on dual channel specification.

I would like to know any of the user here upgrade the ram and can run dual channel?

the technician at HP told me I have to use 2 HP Ram(samsung oem) ram then only can get dual channel, true?
