IT Security vacancy with Spore Bank in KL

Hi guys,

I am working with a Singapore regional bank in KL and we are looking for suitable candidate to fill in the vacancy of IT security. My Head of Department has delegated the task of filtering to me to shortlist some candidates for interview for this vacancy. This is to reduce the overhead of recruiting via HR.

Background of the company:
One of the 3 main Singapore banks

some of the requirements as below:

1. At least 2 years experience in IT (programming background is an advantage)
2. application security knowledge
3. knowledge of SDLC
4. understanding of various platform OS and databases e.g. Windows 2000/2003, solaris UNIX, iSeries, IBM AIX, SQL server 2000/2005, Oracle etc.

Job scope:
1. performing security hardening review on servers and databases
2. application review on all the bank existing and new applications
3. Maintaining documentation e.g. security policy, checklists etc.
4. project management (regional project or MY specific)
5. conduct penetration testing on application
6. security alerts monitoring and network review
7. conduct security awareness training to bank staffs (bi-monthly basis)
8. Light travel to Singapore
9. Work with Singapore counterpart as regional hub.

There will not be programming involved but deep understanding of applications and framework/platform is required. Any staff currently working with Big 4 will be preferable.
Anyone below 28 years of age is preferable.

This position will be based at KL HQ.

WTS: Menara Menjalara Condo unit

hi fellow forumers,

I have one unit 1076sqft at Menara Menjalara condo for sale. It is the centre block with covered car park within the building. It is located higher than 8th floor. This unit was tenanted and very well maintained. The tenancy ended last month.

I have spent 30k to renovate the unit. It has KL view and Villa Manja (newly developed bungalow and Semi-D gated housing area which is next to the condo area) view from the balcony and the rooms are facing either the Kl view or the menjalara recreation park.
