BF2142 First Time Start-up

Please take note!

After the intro, you will be prompted to enter your EA account username and password to enter the game. The first account you used to login will be tied/associated with your cd-key.

Each EA account can have multiple soldiers in it, but the cd-key appears to be permanently tied to your account. Currently unknown if you will be able to transfer it to another account later - but highly unlikely.

IMPORTANT: We will not reissue you with a new cd-key if you messed up.

Also, you may not be able to run BF2142 with another EA account that does not already have BF2142 registered to it. Will report findings if/when I know more. Only the scenario below is confirmed:

Scenario:
A buys BF2142 and logs in with his account. Later, his friend B, who did not purchase BF2142, comes over and wants to play the game. When B tries to log in using his own account, the game will inform B that this copy have already been registered by someone (in this case A) and will not let B enter the game.

Oh yeah, you must have an active Internet connection to register your cd-key with your EA account. You will not be able to start the game without doing this. This is because you need to have at least one registered account on the PC to run offline mode.
