need some input or opinion regarding my setup.

have a budget of around 1K and planning to upgrade my GPU. Should I go for A new card like GTX970 / GTX 770 or should I go for SLI since I aready have 1 Zotac GTX760 AMP?

Computer can't boot

Hi all,

Need some help here.

I was playing games few days ago when suddenly my computer just crash and restart. But the problem is it just stuck at the start up (I can’t even go to the bios setup screen). I take out the hard disk and other part and put it back together. It will then boot into windows until the login screen then it will restart again. At first I thought it is the hard disk problem, but I swap with another harddisk it still have the same problem. Anybody got any idea what’s wrong with my com? Any suggestion where to start the troubleshooting?

WTA: Graphic Card problem

Hi All,

recently my computer have problem (don't know what? may be heat issue) and it restart. After it restart, it can't go into windows. So i have choose the last known good configuration and it start ok. But when got into the windows, everything is fine except it have this error message out say the ATI driver is not working properly and i cant open the CCC suite. I trying download the latest CCC from the AMd website and reinstall the driver after uninstall the old one. But the problem still there.....

May i know what happen? how to go around this? eventhough nothing happen and i can still playing games with no crashing problem (still able to set the setting to high) but the error message is just annoying.

Hi All,

recently i just install HD Sentinel to check my HD and found that one of the HD (Seagate 500GB) is labeled by the HD sentinel as health -- 19% only. Is that mean that my HD is dying. But the computer still boot up ok daily. no sign of dying.....is the HD sentinel correct? if yes, then what are my option caused my Os is sitting in it.

My questions are:
1. can i fix this problem with out reformating the hd?
2. is updating the firmware can fix this problem?
3. if no to the questions above, any free software that can map the whole hd to a new one without have to reinstall the OS again?

any help or suggestions would be much appreciated...

Hi All,

as mentioned above, i am new in this . first time own gaming keyboard.

Is the macros setting / recording limited to keystroke only -- meaning if i am to to record duck (ctrl) and firing (left button on mouse) , it will only set the duck key only. I have tried this in L4D2, it only function as to duck but no firing....am i missing something?

is there any website that have info on macro setting/recording for newbies? the info come with the G110 disc is not helping at all.

Hi guys...

My windows crash recently, so i need to reinstall the windows into the same HDD. But apparently it wont let me format the HDD or using the sata DVD drive to boot up. none of the SATA port allow me to do so. finally i managed to get the windows install but by using the IDE DVD drive and IDE HDD. after install i still can't get the window to format the HDD. and also the LAN Port cannot be detected as well. Is my MB need to RMA already or there are others problems that caused this situation?

Windows XP Pro installation problem

Hi all,

My windows xp pro crash recently and i trying to reinstall the windows into the same hard disk and partition. But it just fail to do so, either hang, file missing, cannot format the disk, or stop at 11% during the file copying........

I have 2 hard disk ( see my signature below) both also fail to install the windows. At first i thought my hard disk fail....but i can still format it on other computer with no problem .....why?

will be much appreciated if someone here can offer any assistance.

base on my signature below, i have a budget around RM1k-RM1.2K for upgrade. Should i go for:

A. buying additional 2GB ram (i already have KVR 2GB-800mhz sitting around) to made it total 4GB, buying window 7 plus a new hard disk for it (1TB black caviar)

OR

B. Upgrade proc to C2Q 9550, 1TB harddisk (black caviar) and forget about the window 7

Which one is the best option in my scenario?
