Gaming CPU Help - RAM, HD, PSU & Casing

Hello all, I am attempting to build a gaming CPU and I would like to hear opinions about this build which I had in mind. The aim here is to build a gaming computer with upgrade potential in the future. Budget aiming to be less than 3.5k but may change.
So far I had covered on what is listed down here.

Mobo: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe
Processor: Intel i7 2600K
GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 6970 (I did consider the GTX580 but I've never used a Radeon before so I plan to stick with a Radeon GPU)

I would like to hear any opinions on these:-

PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800W or Corsair TX 850W

I heard the Corsair TX 850W is not really compatible with the Radeon 6970 is that true?

RAM: I can't decide between a Corsair or a Kingston RAM. Planning to get 8GB
HD: I am thinking of Western Digital 500GB. Any Opinions on this?
Chasis: Enough to fit in the components listed in bold Do I need a full tower or a mid tower for this? I was thinking of getting a Cooler Master make

I appreciate any advice you gurus can give me

NVidia GeForce control panel problem

Hello, I have an issue with the nvidia control panel and i would really need some advice/help on what is actually going on.

My graphic card is a GeForce 7600 GT 265MB DDR3. It version was a 91.- (something I can't remember). Then i when and download a driver for it from the official site. The URL is http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_178.13_whql.html

The installation went well. After I restart my comp, i have an error starting up my nvidia control panel. It keeps on showing me the common "Send Error Report" window msg.

This is my first time installing a graphic card driver and I want to know what am I missing. How can I start up my nvidia control panel again? Do I have to delete the driver?
