Suggestion for decent 185/55R16 tyres

Looking to replace tires for my brother's car but this size 185/55R16 really gives me a headache. I'm not a very technical person when it comes to tyres but I always try to use above average quality tires. My brother drives like a cow so I thought I'd change something better for him. I've personally always used Michelin Ps3 but wonder if there could be other cheaper options to consider since I'm not well-informed of the updates in the tyre-scene. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hello, I've been silently lurking around this thread for the past few days. I have recently sent my car to service and have been told that I'll have to change both my back tyres. I have been using the 205/55/16 NCT5 tyres since I bought my car and after 40k I think it's about time to change. I felt a little bit unstable taking tight corners now.

After reading some of the reviews and comments here I've decided to probably choose the following:

1) Hankook S1 Evo 2
2) Hankook S1 Noble 2

[would be great if someone can let me know which of the two are better]

3) Yokohama Advan DB
4) Bridgestone Re003
5) Michellin PS3

I think (1) or (2) would be my main choice, I know the reviews for (5) are skyhigh and most of you undoubtedly would recommend that tyre but I'd say it's only a matter of last resort for me. I am not a racer and I don't usually speed albeit I do reckon that I drive faster than most average road users, Michellin Ps3 seems a little "overkill" for me. I made my mind on re003 previously but I read somewhere that it has low durability, not sure how bad is it.. would be great if someone can confirm. Yokohama DB seems to receive alot of praise as well, but someone mentioned as well that yokohama tyres are generally not very good on wet conditions, is that true? I'd prefer the tyres to be decent on wet roads since my gf does drive my car sometimes..

I'd appreciate any feedback from the sifus here. Any other recommendations are also more than welcome.

Problem details

Problem frequency: Always and neverending
Problem description: Extremely annoying lags and disconnects when playing online games like Dota 2

Hello peeps! I have been a vivid follower of LYN for quite some time now and I realized that this has been one of the most common problem haunting UNIFI users out there.

Like many of you, I tried finding for solutions on the internet via google, yahoo, techgeek, bla bla bla, you name it - I've done that. To my disappointment, most smarty pants out there (and here) tend to offer silly solutions or methods to which would cause more damage than help.

The reason I create this thread is to help save your time and money. Don't listen to those who tell you to buy a new router, pray to God 7 times a day, play the game only between 3.37am - 3.42am... Rubbish!

SOLUTION:

You simply have to login to your router (type 192.168.0.1 into your browser address bar, hit enter) -> key in your username and password -> go to the "Advanced Tab" (top tabs) -> then click "Anti Attack" (left hand site navigation) -> UNTICK "Enable Anti Attack" and hit APPLY.

There you go. Now you're all done and ready to kick some ass online. If your problem persists then you may try all the other garbage posted on the internet.

p/s: This solution was shared to me by a kind soul ( I don't remember who though, but God bless his soul)
