Procedures on Insurance Claim

Dear all,

Would appreciate if you guys could help on the following,

1. A third party banged my car and I wanted to claim third party insurance, is it compulsory for me to provide car registration card and insurance policy to the workshop owner since they are claiming another party ?
2. If I provided them with these documents, are there any risk for the workshop owner to claim my damages using my own insurance, I understood that they need to earn from the claim and the car of the other party is not under their reparation.
3. I got another car registered under my name, is there any risk I would loss my NCB of the another car if this car claimed.

Interview at PKF International

I was told to have an interview next Monday at PKF International, an audit firm located at KL, early today morning. I was awaken from my sleep and in the middle of our conversation, I heard the location of their office was like inside Menara Millennium, Damansara. I later search on their website and found their office is located at Menara 1MK, Mont Kiara, so I decided to call back and reconfirmed.

So, here is my situation. I am going all the way from Penang to KL for the interview and I am not familiar with the locations there. So, I need advises on which budget hotel to check in, rate, not more than RM250, and if possible, with taxis nearby.

Second, what time should I depart from my hotel, with a taxi, if my interview is scheduled at 930am, Monday.

Third, I would like to reconfirm with those working or used to work in PKF International, is there any branches of PKF International located at Menara Millennium, Damansara and what are the questions likely to be asked by the interviewer.

Cost of Maintaining a 10 y/o BMW

What is the cost of maintaining a year 2003's BMW 3 series ? I found one in a second hand car dealer, milleage around 120k, at a price of 45k. I have always been a fan of old BMW, and would like to keep one at home, but I never own a new neither an old BMW, so I got no idea about the cost of keeping one. I am driving a first hand 2006's Toyota Camry and I found it's a very reliable car without any major repair along this except for the alarm system. So I would like to know if a 10 years old's BMW could be as durable as my Camry, without costing me much to repair and maintain. I personally think a milleage of 120k is not much for a 10 years BMW though I am not so sure if the second hand car dealer is able to adjust it. Advises needed and many thanks.

Teaching System In UK

I am taking my degree in accounting at INTI International University in collaboration with University of Hertfordshire, UK. I am going to finish my second year of degree this month and thinking of transferring to UK for my final year under the same degree programme this coming September. It was a last minute decision and I have a 2 weeks time to consider about it. So, here is my situation. I would like to know more about the teaching method and education system in UK. I seriously think that lecturers in INTI still practice spoon feeding methods in their teaching style. Notes and teaching materials are prepared fully by the lecturers and students just have to study according to it. I think it is quite common in every colleges and universities in Malaysia. I am going straight for the final year in UK and I seriously think that it would be risky if I couldn’t cope or adapt their teaching methods effectively. I think the education system in western countries is more on self study. Can someone please advises me based on their past experiences? Helps are appreciated, thank you.

Satellite Decoder

Ok, here is my situation. The place I am living has a very poor reception on basic TV channels such as TV1,2,3, NTV7 etc. and hence my family has been subscribing for Astro along this. I found my family hardly watch on Astro channels and therefore I think subscribing Astro would be a waste and hence I am thinking of terminating their service. So, here is my question, is it possible for me to receive the basic TV channels by using the Astro dish and a China brand satellite decoder ? And what are the other alternatives that could be taken by me in order to receive the basic TV channels ? Thank You.

A friend of mine bought a China brand decoder which was able to receive around 9 pre-set Taiwanese channels through an Astro antenna. I believed it is able to receive more than the 9 channels if I can get to know more about the LNB Frequency, Symbol Rate, etc. Does anyone here have the list of combination of digit which can help me to configure for more channels. I am thinking to buy the decoder soon and I would like to know if you guys have better recommendation for other brands or model. Thanks a lot if you guys can help me out.

I am taking 3+0 Hertfordshire Accounting at INTI Nilai. So, here is my situation, I was planning to transfer to UK this coming September but the officer told me my application to Hertfordshire UK was not going to success because I still have two more subjects pending for year one. That means I have to clear all the subjects for year 1 here in order to go for year 2 there. I also heard that UK universities does not go by semester system, which means I have to spend another year there instead of a semester to complete the remaining two subject. I did asked for a credit transfer to other universities as well and I understand that not all the subjects which I have already taken here are transferable. And again, I have to spend a year there to continue my year 1’s remaining subjects which are not transferable. It’s so inflexible, isn't it ? Advises are seriously needed and I am here to ask is it possible for me to transfer to another university in UK which allows me to complete my year 1 remaining subjects in a semester instead of a year. Thanks a lot for your help and I do appreciate it =)

The highlighted red potion of my bottom front tooth cracked off when i was having my lunch yesterday. Does that mean I am having dental caries or cavities which lead to the crack ? There are no bleedings on my gum and the tooth is not shaky either but I am afraid I am going to loss my tooth soon ? Is there any restoration available and how much it is going to cost usually ? If there is a restoration, is it going to help in strengthening my tooth ? Thanks a lot for advices =)

I am thinking to switch since the price of Ron 97 is hiking, but I am afraid Ron 95 will lead to some damages of my car's engine. Ok, I am a college student. My dad used to send me money every month through cash deposit machine and I withdraw it by ATM. The account is under my name I think, cos I am applying this account alone but the officer did require my dad's IC, not sure what is it for, I am 18 that time. Ok, here is my situation, I borrow quite a large sum of money to my friend recently, so I am here to ask is it posible for my dad to check my account balance through cash deposit machine or through the officer working at the counter just because of our relationship ? I got the passbook in my hand, I am afraid he will find out later, for sure he wont allow me to borrow this amount of money to my friend since I am still a student. I need advices please and thanks a lot for your time.
