Here is what i see from my router

Downstream Margin: 3 db
Upstream Margin: 23 db
Downstream Line Attenuation: 45 db
Upstream Line Attenuation: 12.5 db
Downstream Transmit Power: 11 db
Upstream Transmit Power: 2 db

Whenever i start a download, although i get full speed, i get dced after 15 secs of downloading. Is is because of the downstream margin?

EDIT: I realise the margin fluctuates, im downloading a file now, and refreshing the page on my mode, it drops really low, then goes up again.

Anyone having dropped connections frequently?

Once i start a download, my connections drops. The internet light on my router just goes off. EVERY SINGLE TIME since this morning.

I subscribe 1mb line. normally can get 170kb/s download speed
starting from a few days ago, speed become 70+
could it be that streamyx wrongly cap my speed onto the 512kbps package ?

laptop screen problem

Cannot get 60.53 ip anymore

anyone having same problem? i always prefer 60.53 to 60.51, but now cant seem to get it anymore, tried reconnecting more than 10 times, normally 3-4 times can get the ip i want. JB here.
