Hi all,

My friend likes Sponge Bob alot and I am going to prepare her a last minute bday present for her. Where can I find a place that could possibly selling a lot of Sponge Bob related collection items (Toys, Books, Cup or anything) in KL area?

thanks in advance!

Can use 3x DDR1 400 on 4 slots DUAL Channel Mobo?

I went through pinned topic "RAM Handbook" under hardware, it mentioned about running single channel configuration on DUAL channel motherboard on a 3 RAM slots NForce2. I tried to apply it on my NF4 motherboard with 4 ram slots, I plug my 1G ram on slot 0 (channel 0), 512 RAM on slot 2 & slot 3 (channel 1). I can enter window without problem, but i found out only 1.5G ram detected, It seems slot 3 Ram not working. So I moved it from slot 3 to slot 1, I can see now total is 2G RAM after boot up. However, my pc failed to load my XP 64 OS with the following message:

QUOTE

windows could not start bcoz of a general computer hardware configuration problem.

attempting to load an x64 operating system however the system does not have the APIC configured.

check your firmware setting make sure the firmware has enabled the advanced programmable interrupt controller (APIC) on this system.

So I would like to know:
1) can I actually only run 3 DIMM Ram on a Dual Channel, 4 RAM Slots Motherboard?
2) Am I slotting them correctly?
3) what can i do for the APIC thing???

Need Suggestion on Video Card for my old rig

I decided to change my mobo to NF4-4X chipset mobo to replace my faulty mobo, thus i need to get a pci-e graphic card. However, MY old 420 W Enlight PSU not a 24 pin supply, as what I read, the addition 4 pin is used to supply power to high end graphic card for sufficient power. I also read about graphic card with 6 pin pci-e power connector and adapter cable as well. I have been years no reading reviews on graphic cards, I totally blur to choose a graphic card or a solution to tolerate with my current system spec limitation. I m not sure how much power my PSU can deliver especially after heat up. Any guru can help? I not a hardcore gamers, just need a video card at best value if possible planning to buy 2nd hand card, may be budget less than 200 ...
