ubuntu terminal command not working

Hey guys, I'm currently doing am assignment related to the introductory of Linux OS. For this I'm using Ubuntu.

So i need to just follow the steps provided but i'm stuck.

CODE

1. Whoami
2. echo "My second Linux command"
3. mkdir OS
4. cd OS
5. cat>temp.txt
Linux is so much fun(type ctrl+d)
6. vi temp.txt(to check if Linux is so much fun is on the file)
7. shift+I and then type in "OS" and then press enter
8. Esc+shift+:+w+q (to exit from the vi editor)
9. ps -a (to list all the processes running on the system currently)

I'm having problems at step 7 onwards. When i do step 7 its like nothing is being executed and when i skip to step 8 it goes to ex mode.

In the ex mode i cannot execute step 9 cause it says command is not available in this version but when i run the terminal normally i can run ps-a

Any pointers? Thanks

I'm asking on behalf of a friend of mine. Does anyone know where/who to find a tuner that specialises in tuning a WRX STI?

I think there is a tuning hub near sunway area but i think they are more accustomed with Mitsu/Honda/Proton

Any ideas?

so i look up on an i7 3770 and it supports alot of chipset

now when buying a motherboard, how do you guys know which chipset to choose from since there are so many types of it and what kind of difference does it make

Hello,

Well here's how it went, i ordered something from the states mostly clothes and it arrived like 4 days ago. So i called Pos malaysia and they told me i have to go to lcct to pay the tax

So last time i was there, i was fukken blur and now i still am. Last time they say i have to go to the Trade Free Zone or something like that but i need a pass from the other office which they say i need some kind of form before i can get the pass

So anyone with experience can give me some guidelines on how to deal with this efficiently?

So we come to a time where supposedly spirits and jewish werewolves roam free (and attending bar mitzvah). Though roughly 12 hours early than our Western counterpart, we can have our fun early. As this is a Halloween theme giveaway, games are going to be spooky scary (and cheap - i poorfag so dont expect Call of Booty, Darkness 2, Alice, Prototype etc) and hillariously fun.
