Dell XPS M1530 vs. MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz

Hi guys,

Am thinking of changing my old faithful Dell Inspiron laptop (5 yrs old). Currently eye-ing on the Dell XPS M1530 and the MacBook Pro 15" 2.4Ghz.

Spec wise, the core stuff are pretty similar, price of course Mac is more pricey. But is Mac worth the price?

Advantage of the Mac is the ability to dual boot Mac and Windows.

Dell, is highly customizable and cheap. My old Dell serve me well for the past 5 years with no problems. Hence, can I expect the same for the new XPS?

I suppose the question now is which is more durable? which is a better choice?

I haven't own a Mac before, so I thought it might be a good idea to start picking up a new OS?

Pls advise
