BIOS Password

My Office Notebook PC is ACER Travelmate 6292-101g16 running on Ms WIN Vista Business.

Recently my lady boss installed the Notebook PC with a BIOS Password. Since the implementation of the BIOS Password on Notebook PC is not encouraged in a corporate company, my lady boss instructed me to remove the BIOS Password which she had installed or in other words disabling it at the startup. When the Notebook PC booted up, I press F2 to goto BIOS Setup and went into the Supervisor Password option where I keyed in the BIOS Password provided by my lady boss to access the PC & after that the next step was to key-in the New Password and another round for the Confirm New Password. For the New Password field, I keyed in blank (didn't key in anything) and then tap to the next Confirm New Password with the same content. The step was complete thus I was happy that the whole process was accepted, ie. taking for granted the syntax for the Password Content was valid as it was accepted. To my horror, after saving the BIOS resetting & restarted Notebook PC, the BIOS Password was still needed to be entered.... so I enter nothing and pressed the Enter Key but a message displayed that the content is invalid!!! Later a message displayed "System Disabled [07249] ....what is this !!!! The Notebook PC hangs .....

Please help cos the Notebook PC cannot be used at all now! I know that if this happens on the Desktop PC, you only need to short the motherboard battery or just take off the battery so that the BIOS settings, including the Password would be erased from storage!!! How do you do this on the Notebook PC.

Help help help urgently .... do know what to do here ..... URGENT !!!!!
