Hey people!

I was wondering is there anyway to plug my camera/dslr/video onto the laptop ? My laptop is using a type D Hdmi and my camera is using a type C Hdmi.

I understand that both are output and are normally connected to a type A HDTV, but I would love to try see if its possible to use my laptop as a bigger screen to my camera.

Is there anyway to do this? Could I possibly get a normal Type D to type A HDMI cable and just buy an additional adapter for Type A to Type C and use it this way? What will happen.

Torn between Benro and Manfrotto

I've being thinking for a very long time which tripod should I get.. And I'm only getting it this year end after my major exams XD haha.. So i need some opinions and comments..

Personally Im in love with the feature that the head of the column can tilt vertically and horizontally..

My personal preference of the tripod I wanted to get :
1) Column can tilt both Horizontally and Vertically
2) Light weight and compact
3) Minimum height can reach less than 35cm

I'm torn between two choices.. * Ignore Gitzo which is darn expensive *
It's either benro or manfrotto..

Benro's Flexpod series and Manfrotto's X series..

The one I was quoted with Manfrotto's X series are the :
Manfrotto 190xProB which is around 1.8 kg.. Which I think it's a little big heavy with the head. I was quoted Rm 390 without the head
Manfrotto 190CXpro4 which is around 1.3 kg.. but a little bit expensive XD I was quoted Rm 900 without the head.

Oh yea forgot to mention that both have a maximum of 146cm and normal height of 122cm.

Its RM 500 different and 0.5 kg different.. means you pay an extra of RM1 for reduction of 1g XD

Then up next is the Benro series :
Benro Flexpod A-297 which is darn heavy 2.55kg but cheap XD I was quoted around Rm 440
Benro Flexpod C-197 which is 1.57 kg.. Don't know about the pricing yet..Should be more than A series..
Benro Flexpod C-297 which is also heavy to me XD 1.84 kg .. Don't know abt the price yet ..

A and C series -297 can reach a maximum height of 170cm plus plus while -197 series can reach a maximum height of 150cm plus plus..

Haha.. What I can say both about this tripod is .. Benro's tilting is Manually where you have to take out the whole thing and placed it horizontally.. While Manfrotto's tilting is auto where you just have to press a button and switch it to horizontally.. haha..
