Tight guitar strings

I'm a beginner player still learning to play guitar. Last week I brought my guitar to the shop to change all the strings. All's good the first couple of days but ever since then I notice 2 things:
1) I have to tune the guitar more frequently compared to before
2) The strings feel tight.

for e.g. when I pluck the B and high E strings together when playing a fingerstyle song, I get low faint sound. Anyone knows why this is happening?

I find it very difficult to practise any fingerstyle songs cos of the tight strings.

1st tyre change

Hi all, need some advice. I am finally going to change my car tyres for the first time since bought car 5 years ago . My mileage of 45k is low so I didn't feel the need to change before but the wear & tear is starting to show, and I also hear the max life of tyres is 5 years so high time for me to change. I am less knowledgeable on tyre brands so most likely will stick to current brand, I believe is Silverstone. I like to know other than changing the tyre, is it necessary to change chamber nuts or whatever stuff that I know the tyre shop will ask me to change? And how much do these additional services usually cost?

Contractor to take over existing kob

Asking this on behalf of a relative. He terminated his contractor due to contractor went MIA. Work done by that contractor also very shoddy. Pending still got some a bit of wet works and other minor touch ups to do. Can anyone recommend some trustable contractors that are willing to take over this small job?

Beginner Guitar Choice for Ladies

I know there have some past threads on entry level guitar for beginners but I like to ask again based on my requirements. I've always been keen to learn guitar but dare not as I'm kinda slow in understanding music notes. Tried learning organ when I was a kid but that didn't go anywhere. Plus I have short fingers. I'm thinking to give it a second shot on music, maybe enrol in guitar class.

My bro visited a music instrument store and the salesgirl recommended Morrison for ladies. Do u think this is a good choice, keeping in mind I have short fingers (my biggest fear)? If not, any recommendation for a decent entry level guitar? My budget is no more than RM300, and I prefer to not start with a kapok guitar.

Hi - One of the contractor I surveyed quoted me this. Can you let me know if this is reasonable?

1. Wardobe - 9' x 11' (up to ceiling height) - melamine abs/anti jam/sand glass door - 4600
2. Kitchen cabinet - 9.6' x 6.5' - L-shape, ceiling height 10', melamine abs - 5400
3. Counter top Quartz stone (didn't specify which brand @RM250.sf, total is 11.66' in length) - 2,900 + 200 for opening of undermount sink
4. Bathroom sink cabinet - laminated plywood - RM550

Total is RM13,650.

Also, if I want to fix new plug point direct to the DB but the DB is across the room, can I hide the cables with cornice if I don't want to do plaster ceiling? I prefer not to hack ceilings. Otherwise have to consider plaster ceiling which I'm a bit reluctant to do as I want high ceiling. My ceiling height is now 11 feet but since my unit is a studio, I worry it might look small if the ceiling is dropped. Please advice.

I recently started doing kettlebell workout and I absolutely love it. I sweat more with kettlebell than my workout at the gym

Just wondering if anyone is into kettlebell craze as I am..

Anyone knows of any place that I can join kb classes without being tied down to full gym membership fees, other than KDTA? Their schedule is not suitable to my time. I follow workouts on youtube but I realised that some may not be performing correctly in the techniques. So, I like to enrol in some classes to better understand the proper techniques to maximise my workout.

Can anyone advise me on how to make payment for Streamyx via Maybank2u? My bills for Telephone and bill for Streamyx have 2 separate account numbers. I have registered the acct no. for Telephone under Telekom Malaysia Berhad in M2U already. Do I register the same for Streamyx as well under Telekom Malaysia Berhad too?

I tried inquiring with TMpoint but the clerk told me she has no idea Called 100 and was told I can make payment for both Telephone and Streamyx under one transaction. I can understd that if both items comes in one bill but this one has 2 different acct no.

Just want to confirm with other experienced users before I make any online payment.

Can't detect external harddisk

Today I cannot view my external HDD in My Computer or Disk Management even though my notebook can detect it. I went into Disk Management and decided to click "Create Simple Volume" and I was asked to assign a drive. But now it seems I have to format the drive before I can use it. Is there any way I can undo this? Or is it my data is lost?

Is it possible for me to save my data in there eg. any recovery software I can download?? Please help.

Bought 4 DVDs at a shop yesterday. 3 of those can be played on my PC DVD drive but not on my dvd player. The remaining one can. Anyone knows why?

Streamyx - how to change ID and network key?

I have just got my Streamyx installation done and I have some noob questions so hope that someone can assist to answer. The technician went off in a hurry so I didnt get a chance to ask him anything.

1. There is a sticker on the router with my Streamyx ID and network key. How to change my ID and network key?

2. Is it better to set it to WPA? How to do so?

3. How do I check my Streamyx email address?

Is anyone else having any problems connecting to internet using Digi BB? I keep getting this Error 619 message everytime I tried to connect since yesterday. I read somewhere that this error message is usually due to server problem. I tried connecting using a different notebook and it failed as well.
