Its that time of the year again.. The original reality tv series will return on air Wednesday, 15th September 2010.

The location of Nicaragua was announced at the conclusion of the finale of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. It has been reported that the 22nd season will also take place in Nicaragua, and both seasons will be filmed near San Juan del Sur.

Survivor host, Jeff Probst, has also announced that the Hidden Immunity Idol will continue to be used in the game. However, as idols have been found too easily the past two seasons (most often by Russell Hantz), or as the show's producers have dubbed it, "The Russell Factor", the idol will be hidden differently. The clues to the idols' locations will be visual rather than written as in past seasons. In addition, the tribes will be vying for control of a new item, the Medallion of Power, that, when used, gives an advantage in a challenge, but is then transferred to the other tribe.

Additionally, the 20 contestants will be divided up into two tribes based on their ages. The Espada tribe will feature contestants over the age of 40, and the La Flor tribe will include contestants aged 30 years and younger. - Wikipidea

Just installed a new PC..

Here are the specs:

Pentium C2D e6600 (Conroe)
2GB DDR2
320GB HDD
DVDROM
MSI G31 motherboard
ATI 4650 Gfx card
2 x 120mm Tricool casefan
400 watt PSU

Are the temperatures normal for this CPU? This is taken when PC is idle..in room temperature.

I tried to google.. but there are so many conflicting ideas..like different software to monitor temperature, different batch CPU, different sensor, different core temp etc etc..

I cant find a definite answer..and I dunno much this stuff. Just wanna know if the CPU running hot or not.. or whether i need to add more fans.

We’re a little concerned that the first episode is titled “The Puppet Master”. While we’re sure that evil villains are what most Survivor fans want, we’ve had enough of the Coach storylines for awhile. We mean it when we say it makes us want to watch less.

Tonight’s episode begins with a series of canoes paddling to shore. There is interspliced editing that displays first opinions of some of the contestants, with the initial focus on a woman who has Davy Crockett’s hat as her natural hair. It looks like a small woodland creature is attached to her skull. There’s a guy who claims that his primary goal on the show is to make everyone else miserably unhappy. Usually, these are the easiest goals to achieve, but it also proves to be poor Survivor strategy.

The producers of the show are not wasting any time this season (yet). The tribes are already divided by the time they reach shore. Anyone in purple is now a member of Galu. The people in yellow are Team Foa Foa. Before they even identify themselves to each other, each team is told to elect a leader. This is an interesting exercise in the importance of appearance and first impressions. For Galu, the first vote goes to a shaved-headed dude named Erik, while the second goes to Mrs. Davy Crockett, who identifies herself as Shambo. At this point, the light goes on for us. She explains that she was a US Marine in 1986 and her fashion accessory of choice, the bandana, was being used by the Hollywood star of the time, Sylvester Stallone in Rambo. She became known as “Shambo” and adopted his hairstyle to boot. It’s a bold move to keep the same hairstyle for 25 years, folks. Especially when Stallone couldn’t run away from it fast enough.

Choosing which floor

Hi..

I am getting an apartment unit.. Its a 18 storey high apartment. I decided against the first few floors for security.. I have never lived in this type of apartment situation..

I worry that the middle floors will be a nightmare with people running below and above my head.
Waiting and going up and down on the lift is not too appealing for the top most floors....though i am sure it wil have more privacy..

Can anyone offer a first hand opinion? Which is the more desirable floor? will the lower commands a higher market value compared to the top floors?

8 FOTA members announce new breakaway race series, RIP Formula 1?

8 of the current F1 teams that make up the Formula One Teams Association have announced that they (with the exception of FOTA members Williams and Force India) will leave F1 at the end of the current season. These 8 teams are: BMW Sauber, Brawn, Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, Renault, Toro Rosso, and Toyota.

Since the formation of FOTA last September the teams have worked together and sought to engage the FIA and commercial rights holder (Formula One Management, lead by Bernie Ecclestone), to develop and improve the sport. Unprecedented worldwide financial turmoil has inevitably placed great challenges before the F1 community.

FOTA is proud that it has achieved the most substantial measures to reduce costs in the history of our sport. In particular the manufacturer teams have provided assistance to the independent teams, a number of which would probably not be in the sport today without the FOTA initiatives.

The FOTA teams have further agreed upon a substantial voluntary cost reduction that provides a sustainable model for the future. Following these efforts all the teams have confirmed to the FIA and the commercial rights holder that they are willing to commit until the end of 2012. The FIA and the commercial rights holder have campaigned to divide FOTA.

The wishes of the majority of the teams are ignored. Furthermore, tens of millions of dollars have been withheld from many teams by the commercial rights holder, going back as far as 2006.

Despite this and the uncompromising environment, FOTA has genuinely sought compromise. It has become clear however, that the teams cannot continue to compromise on the fundamental values of the sport and have declined to alter their original conditional entries to the 2010 World Championship.

These teams therefore have no alternative other than to commence the preparation for a new Championship which reflects the values of its participants and partners. This series will have transparent governance, one set of regulations, encourage more entrants and listen to the wishes of the fans, including offering lower prices for spectators worldwide, partners and other important stakeholders.

The major drivers, stars, brands, sponsors, promoters and companies historically associated with the highest level of motorsport will all feature in this new series.

Just look at the last paragraph above. The FIA is truly screwed right now because all the huge sponsors supporting these FOTA teams will be moving to the new series. They are not dumb, it was a calculated and well-planned decision and they confirmed with the sponsors first before announcing this.

It simply doesn’t make sense for manufacturer teams to take part in a race where the development budget is restricted, and if Bernie has gone this far, he won’t stop until he gets his ways with other stuff, like the standardised engine either built by Cosworth, or built according to Cosworth specs.

The new series will likely have an image and prestige comparable with F1 as it is made out of teams that stood for what F1 is in the first place. In fact if the big budget teams have it their way, the new series would go back to what F1 was a couple of years ago before all the big changes.

F1 could now end up more like a glorified version of the old Formula 2/Formula 3000 and Formula 3 feeder races. The rule changes have brought the technology bar down and leaves room for a new series to take its place as the pinnacle of racing. That new series may end up being called Grand Prix World Championship (GPWC), an idea of a rival series consortium that started all the way back in 2005 when there was already dissatisfaction with the FIA. The name is apt as F1 is said to be the spiritual successor to the original Grand Prix Motor Racing in the 1890s.

I am 26 years old. Single. Wanting to purchase my first home.
My salary is just RM2300..
Only commitment is car loan at RM550 monthly (3 years loan left).

I am looking for fixed rate loan with NZEC.
I have RM13K from my savings+epf acc 2.. hopefully its enough for 10% down+ legal fees etc etc

Can I afford a RM80K apartment? Would the banks approve my loan?
Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

Does it make sense to do cardio

Does cardio / HIIT / circuit training have any benefit on a skinny guy that is bulking? is lifting enough?

I mean u can only burn 100 calories per 5 mile run... after all the cardio, need to continue daily intake of 2000-3000 calories per day.

HDisk probs n graphic card prob

i've got several problems that maybe you kind gentlemens can lend a helping hand with

First is my Western Digital 160 GB SATA2 HD that i formatted a month a go. I used to have two partitions and dual boot but i deleted one of the the partitions so i only have one 160GB partition. wanted to use Partition Magic to resize the first partition after i deleted the 2nd partition. when i restart my PC, my windows XP that was in my first partition could not load. I deleted the whole partition on the drive and formatted the drive and reinstall XP on the drive that i formatted but when the PC restarts after coppying the installation files from the CD, the windows setup does not load. I can store files in it as normally but it cannot boot an OS. i tried installing Vista again on that drive but it said somethings wrong wth the disk. I already tried fixBoot, fixMBR, and set my partition on the drive active but it still cannot load an OS.

Any Idea?

prob 2 Graphic Card.

Fairly certain that my 7300GT PCI-E card is busted. the onboard graphics works fine but when i put in the 7300GT my pc hangs within a few minutes.

just wondering is this GC problem fixable if i send it to repairs at local shops and how can i be sure its the card thats busted and not my mobo's PCI-E slot? even suspecting sumthing wrong with the power supply due to the fact that the GC works for the few first minutes before it hangs.

after it hangs when i start my PC the fans CPU and dvd drive seems to be ok but there is no light on the LED showing power nor HDD activity.. after a while can start again the PC but again.. after around 3 minutes it hangs again.

What is wrong? I cannot surf Yuuutube.

Everytime i type Yuutube.com or search youtube at Google.com this error appears, and my browser shuts down. My floppy disk keep buzzing (reading) too. Seems like i cannot type utube, since the virus is able to read what i post (thus the misspelling). Anyone having the same problem? Any solution? Has this have anything to do with the fitna video?

Slow server uploading

I hate it when u have to upload all the Warcraft sounds when login into CS server.

I mean, uploading to connect to server takes forever!!
Why do every server also need this multikill, tripplekill, humungous kill, super duper kill, ludicruous kill, holy sh#t sounds??? I expect if one want to play cs, then should just play cs lah...i want to play warcraft/DOTA just play la dont mix2. Waiting forever to load.

Anyone know how to solve this? Could i just install this sounds in cs map, without having to load them everytime i want to play online?

Looks like modified Gialla bodykit with double exhaust. Don't know any details about the engine, price,interior yet though. Really hoping for 1.5cc engine for this one. Can't confirm wether true or not, any thoughts?

I am going to buy a digital camera for my office. Since I am not much into photography and not as savvy as all photo sifus here.. please recommend me a good camera for RM500-600. It is for office use only, for taking photos during ceremonies, small events etc. May be usin it alot to take photos of site too. I know the budget is small, but i only got allocated this much only. Anyone? Thanks in advance.
