Hi I want to know what type of PC should I buy that will be able to do everyone of these below:
It will have to be below RM 3000. approx RM 2500 would be nice.

1. Graphic Rendering

2. 3D Modeling. e.g blender3D.

3. Coding/Compiling.

4. Gaming. e.g CnC, MMO

5. CUDA enabled, PhysicX (optional)

6. PC Size: Small form factor.

7. CPU: core i5 ( OC not needed )

Extra questions

A. Is there any ready made PC from any company that can work these without lagging?

B. Where is the first place I will have to search for?

C. I have a used months old graphic card. ( Gigabyte GT-440 TC to 1GB ) if I bought one with available graphic slot. Will the commercial PC's warranty become void if I install this?

About external hdd casing. need help!

Here my predicament. My home desktop computer 80GB Seagate "Barracuda" HDD (7year) seems to be damaged yesterday, it never went in to the boot screen, just black.

taught it is the fault of the sata cable, changed it to a backup cable, result still the same.

I'm thinking of anyway to recover the data from the HDD.

secondly I also have another 500GB WD "Carviar Green" HDD that backup some of the data. (not all are backed up). The problem is it's a 3.5 HDD. trying to find Local store in seremban that will sell an external enclosure to contain it. Through telephone contact I have not found any store around here that sell ext HDD casing, either they don't sell it or they say no one buy it. I will still try to contact other store if I find them.

the 500GB HDD is relatively new with 89% free space. It should still work (I'm not able to test it at the moment of writing on a netbook).

Does any one have any suggestion of how I can use these harddrives? I will not have the budget to purchase another computer to put the harddrive in.

As I understand, it is a way to use the mobile as a modem connected to computer or laptop to access the net.

The think I need to ask is the way it is charge/not charge.

A few years ago my cousin use her phone as a modem on her laptop. the charge she get is the same rate as using only her phone to surf the net. I heard that tethering is free whereas some ISP will charge it differently. So I started wondering how could that be possible. Is this scenario the same or was it different? Thanks

I just finished installing Iris-Online from Funmily.com. the installation dialog seems to be in chinese. i can' see it. all I get is "????".

I tried installing language pack, but the need the CD which I don't have.

I also tried njstar communicator but it is not working. So my question is:

I have googling the web for a monitoring tools that look like JConsole or Java VisualVM but with the ability to retain data whenever i open the the program (ability to save status of graphs and load back the data from where i stop automatically.). it must also have the ability to monitor programs in the remote computer and also remote server. I havent found one yet anyone got any ideas of a software that match these criterias. thanks

My BIOS would not start. Help

This is the situation im in yesterday, I'm playing the Red Alert 3 for about half an hour when the computer hang with a cracking sound from the speaker. I pressed the reset button then there is no activity on the monitor , no Ameriran MegaTrend logo, no BIOS bootup sequence and no sound of single beep. BTW my BIOS setting is at Optimized Mode. I followed a web site help about removing the battery to reset the MainBoard BIOS. After Turning it on i can access the BIOS again. Set everything up, set BIOS to Fail-Safe Mode and start the OS. Play the game again just another 10min same crackling sound and hang happened. I reset and nothing come out again. try the same fix but this time the BIOS does not boot at all. Does anyone knows what had happen. it really baffled me. help please. Here my CPU Spec.

GC: (MSI) NVidia Geforce 7300LE
RAM: 1x 1GB DDR2

RA3 problem at medium VFX.

Hi... The RA3 game that i have is having a strange problem. when I set the Visual Effect to medium the highlighter that envelope the unit or structure (yellow silhouette) appear beside them instead of around them.

Has any one have this problem before with their RA3 games on medium VFX? thanks

My delivery of the CnC Red Alert 3 had just arrived this morning to my homwtown from TSB. I am not home yet so haven't seen the package.

The questions I want to ask is how to download the patch?

There are different version of the patches from 1.04 to 1.012. do I download all of them or just the latest one?

Do I download from the EA website or the installation will do it automatically?

How to install the patch?

I was very disappointed when Youbeli said the all RA3 listed on their website has been discontinued. Why so fast, its only been two years. How many years have WoW been, and it's still in store. I beleive that not a single store in Malaysia sell it anymore. my next alternative would be Steam or the EA Original Website. Can anyone would enlighten me on how to order from this site?

Furthermore. I heard that the RA3 can be downloaded via internet but the CD-key is to be collected ffrom the EA or Steam? Can anyone help.

I need to add a new storage to my Desktop. I was thinking of getting a 500GB either from Seagate, Samsung or WD. I would like to know if my Computer can support another harddrive. here's my PC spec

installing second HDD

Can some one please help me with this problem with my Computer power supply connection?

I want to upgrade my computer by adding a new SATA HDD 500GB to it

my Computer connection of my HDD is as below.

(Power Supply)

-------->(1st IDE 4-Pin Conector)(SATA Adapter)-------> (SATA HDD)
|
|
+----->(2nd IDE 4-Pin Conector)------->(used 1st 2 pin for indicator LEDs)

As you can see the 2nd one is already connected to the led.
Problem is I want to connect the 2nd HDD but still need the LED.
What can I do, Is there a solution to this?

Hello everyone on this forums. I am new here. Happy new year to everyone.

I wish some one can help me with this problem i have. I have a MIDI program called Anvil Studio, I played around with it sometime. I notice that the new updated version support General MIDI 2. What is General MIDI 2. Is there a different to General MIDI 1? How do I get it.
