6950 dying?

Hi sifu,

Well, suddenly my gc 6950 (running 6970) went wild. Fan speed running at 6k rpm. Temperature at -165 (as seen in both msi afterburner and gpu-z).
I can't control the fan speed at all.. Switch bios also same thing happened. The fan will go on rampage even from boot.. Now my room sounds like a server farm for bitcoin..

Tried to take out the card, touch here there dunno what to do and put it back. still the same.. PC running as usual though.

So any insight?

idle prob when on aircond

ok i hav satria 1.3 year 1999..
when i turn on aircond, the car will vibrate/shake like hell and sometimes the the engine will stall especially when stopping at traffic light. while driving, i can feel the aircond kicks in and drag the car. dunno how to say it but its like a huge person suddenly appear in my car and make it heavier..

i can only on aircond when driving on highway, in city driving i hav to bare the heat without aircond..

i dunno the rpm(1.3 dun have rpm meter) and i dun think my idle rpm(aircond off) is low.

i read about the ficd thing, can it fix my prob? its annoying and embarrassing when take girls out jalan2..huhu

Microsft Office 2007 Pro

hello..
my case...bought the license for Microsoft Office 2007 Pro (No CD) for my client(already give it to client)...
now i just got the installer..before i go install it to my client office, i want to test it 1st..

i plan to install the microsoft office in my office and activate it using the client's product key to test if the Product Key can actually work with the installer(got the installer from other source)..
then i'll uninstall it from the PC..

so the question is, after i uninstall it, can the Product Key be used again???

dun want make any mistake here...money and time...zzzz

ok i just bought new rig, u can see the list in my signature..
the pc always hang...crashed..it display something like this monitor
it's not exactly like that but it the closest i can get...not a repeated pattern like in the pic, not artifact i think?? then after awhile(i cannot do anything, it hang) it will restart itself..
it will happen anytime it want, doesn't matter while the pc is idle or while playing game...ikut sukati die je..

overheating???? i guess not ,because zalman fan for the GC is quite good right? and Intel core 2 dua 45nm do not produce much heat as i know(i try touch the cpu heatsink, not hot at all!! seriously)...
corect me if i'm wrong..

driver for compaq v3515tu

hi guys..
my friend asked my help to find driver for his laptop hp compaq v3515tu..
when he bought it, it came with vista home premium.

now he want to use windows XP instead of vista.
i looked around in google and of course hp website but no luck..
they only have driver for vista..

dun ask why he want to change the OS, i dun even know why..
please help me k..i dunno where to search now..

i posted a thread here b4, about my old pc cannot start..
well i just bought a new set of rig..(go to hell the old!!!)
consist of:
Mobo= GA-EP35-DS3
Graphic card = Gigabyte 8800GT
RAM = Corsair XMS2 1024MBx2
PSU = Gigabyte Odin 550w
CPU = Intel P4 2.6Ghz(use back the old one)
HDD = Maxtor 80GB x2, Samsung 80GB
DVD ROM = LG something

the 1st week after i assembled the rig, it runs ok..
but then one day i tried to start the pc, all fans, HDDs and mobo running BUT only for a few seconds(1-2seconds)!!
so what can u expect to see on the monitor with just only 2seconds??? after that it will restart over and over again..

my brain told me to pull out the cpu fan cable and start it up, so i tried it(of course it wouldn't do any different).
and i plug in the cable back when it was restarting, guess what?? its alive!! i dunno why but it run again the way it should be..

then after 2-3days, it happened again. i tried the solution above but no result..
so i decided to check hardware 1 by 1, change back the old graphic card, no result.
change back old RAM, no result.
take out the CMOS/BIOS(errr..) battery for 2-3minutes, no result.
use only 1 hdd(took out the other HDDs n DVD ROM), no result..

so i dunno what to do now..i know the best solution is to sent it to the shop but at least i want to try all possible solutions so i can learn something

erm..i suspect...CPU burned??? because cannot catch up with the other hardware because i play crysis(set to medium) it crashed sometimes..hehehe

please help me..i know u guys are pros!!

hello.
i'm trying to get new anti virus software from kaspersky..
but the problem is i don't know which of their product is suitable for my network

small office network consist of 10 PC/laptop and a data server(normal PC act as server)
all PC using winXP including the data server

try to make a new server that can act as an "anti virus server". possible??
please give me the product name..
and if possible what anti virus should i install in the other PC?

my last resort is to install "Kaspersky Internet Security" on all PC and server...standalone anti virus..

please give me the solution. mind that i want karpersky product only..

i'm getting Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33 4MB 1333FSB(RM 580) processor..

they a lot of mobo out there n i dun know which is better..
can u help to choose 1..??
price range for mobo RM400-500

give me the best mobo for the price range (FSB must be 1333 rite to match the cpu) for gaming..and the shop that have the mobo...PCzone?? Cycom?? etc

currently i'm using sony explode HU, (45wx4, forget the model) and also sony explode 3 way speaker 270w in the front door.. the rear speaker never change..and no amp!

i like to listen to r&b, techno...that have bom bom bom..(u understand rite )

my budget is around RM1k.. maybe RM1.2k
should i get amp+6x9 or amp+sub??
well as i know 6x9 is cheaper, can put in rear passenger side rite? but the bass not as powerfull as sub..
while sub will take some of the space in the boot.....
errr...

anyway, should i powered the front speaker with amp or leave it like dat?
i really not quite understand about ice stuff
hope u all can help me..
please state any other suggestion other than this setup if u have 1...

i'm using intel p4 2.6Ghz, intel mobo(forgot model), 1.5GB of RAM DDR2 533, 7300GT VGA card..
cause of some virus problem ("bro act" something), i format my HDD n install fresh winxp pro..
after install some drivers, i restart my pc..then it hang/stop at the intel logo screen i waited for about 5hours but the result is still the same.. i cant reformat my pc because the logo go out 1st before it reads the CDROM, am i right??

mobo problem???
pls help...thx in advance
