Battery maintenance

I bought Toshiba Z830 Ultrabook 2 months ago and the battery is non removable.

I need advice on the right procedure of charging the battery:

1) Plug in while operating the laptop

or

2) Plug in for charging only while the laptop is turned off.

I will be going overseas for 4 years, but I want to keep my current mobile number, without having to paid monthly usage. Any suggestion on how to work this out? I'm on Digi by the way...

Marry before Phd (or after?)

I would be going to overseas as a full time PhD student for 4 years.

My question is: any experience of getting married before Phd? Can the life of academic and relationship goes well?

Gym glove

I have been searching around for gym gloves but most are branded ones and cost more than 50 and above.
Is there any suggestion for normal gym glove? My budget is around RM30 or less.
My the way, my area is around SunwAy Pyramid. If there's no any such shops selling around the area, I'm glad if anyone suggest any other places. I will find a time to go and buy.

I always type long messages and my SMS costs is always 1.5 times higher than my call costs.

I wonder which phone is fast and suitable for typing long SMS and frequent SMS?

Service W995 Wobbly Slider

I like my recently bought W995. Everything is great except the wobbly slider turns me off. I sent for claim but seems that the AP company is not servicing it. I asked my friend who operates a phone shop, says wobbly slider can't be fixed.

But I noticed some W995 has good slider. So this means that there must be some screw to fix the slide.

I wonder is there anyone know which shop can fix the wobbly slider? Thanks.......

Call Divert Failed

I would like to set my phone to divert calls. I checked my Maxis online Value Added Subscription, it says I already subscribed to Call Forwarding (because I subscribed to 3G services, call forwarding automatically subscribed). Called Maxis 123, they said I already subscribed...

But no matter how I go to Call Settings->Call Divert->Activate, my Nokia 1680 said "Service Not Active"....

Anybody has any Idea?

(I tried my W810 also failed to activate call divert)

I just subscribed to streamyx Combo 512k monthly RM 90.00 in July. I felt that it's too heavy to me to pay RM90 every month. So I am planning to switch to RM 60 for 386kbps.

Does the term "minimum subscription of 12 months" apply in this case??

Can call, but can't SMS

Dear friends, I have been using my K770i (Maxis) for 3 months. Yesterday night I also did some Texting, and I off the phone. Then today woke up, out of a sudden, my phone can't send or receive SMS... it just in the Outbox forever...but I can make calls...
Anybody experience this before???

I would like to ask which way is better to take care the battery:

1) Use the electricity with battery charging at the same time.

Or

2) Use the battery and electricity mutually exclusively, i.e. take out the battery when there is electricity and vice versa.

Choosing Between 2 Jobs

Let's say you already have a stable job and you definitely like it.

Then there is a chance to work in another company for 1 year and return to your current company after the 1 year period.
Working in that company provides Greater experience and better exposure, other than that are the same (even same salary offered) .

If going for the 1 year job in another company, the current company will assume no job performance evaluation for 1 year, which will affect the speed of promotion in the future.

So the question is, do you want to go for the 1 year job? Or just forget it and work for the current job for the rest of the life?
