Im not sure if this is the right place to post but pls beware of this repair man, call them up to repair my fridge, 1st time after repair the fridge worked for about a week then broken down again, he came a couple of times after that but still cant fix it.. Ask for a refund but no response, now not picking up my calls.. Total cost about RM400.. Attached is the flyers

previously, i went to HOUZ DEPOT to purchase some items for renovating my new house. almost everything i bought there is defected in its own way:

WC: the handle for the float is broken and the screws are missing;
WC: a lot of chips and cracks on the tank cover;
WC: pump not working properly, leaking;
sink: wrong type of wall bracket;
paint: wrong code!

unfortunately some of the items had to be replaced by my plumber because we were chasing a dateline and some others like the pump, i had to go there 3 times to change because they kept giving me a faulty one! (wasting time and energy, not to mention petrol and toll).. and they refuse to refund the paint because it has been used. (i gave it to my painter and thought something was odd when the shade was a bit 'yellower', it is similar but different, the codes are like sxx10 and sxx05)

on top of all that, they have the rudest, slowest and ignorant customer service i have ever experienced. i had to wait 2, yes TWO hours at their bloody shop just to get the supervisor to meet with me..

this has been my worst experience as a costumer; hope my story serve as an advise to all who's reading

i got this old sony cd/cassette player and the base unit is starting to die on me.. i still like to keep the speakers (2 of 'em), any recommendation for amps? preferably something small physically and doesnt burn a hole in me pocket

company stealing annual leave?

i just found out recently that my company deducted the employee's annual leave (totaling 6 days) without our consent. it was taken after chinese new year and their reasoning is that the suppliers was also on leave, hence businesses cant operate. it is frustrating because i was planning to use it on other dates, and since we get only 12 days annually, that just leave 6 days for the rest of the year. can they just deduct as they please without the employees applying for it?

im having problems uploading files to the net.. it starts off ok, but after a while it stops.. is it the connection or it has something to do with vista's firewall? cause ive tried turning off the firewall and still having the problem..

any suggestion for a small (maybe 12.1") laptop which fits these requirments:

Pentium III 1 GHz/ Athlon XP 1.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM

NO cd rom required, no network card, no card readers, just the very bare minimum (USB port and maybe WIFI)

looking for the cheapest price possible

might just add that memory must be big (80G+) and battery is important too, maybe lasting 3+ hours..

im getting a second hand turntable off someone, the thing is i wanna check the sound first before making the trade and the seller doesnt have a working soundsystem, any portable device that i can easily bring around that i can check it with? can i just use a normal protable hifi, cause im not really sure about phono signals
