Hi all, I need some advice here on this scenario.
This is a serious topic. Kindly avoid throwing unnecessary remarks here as I am helping out a couple.

Person Name: Jenny
Status: Single, possess Filipino passport (thus, the foreigner)
Heritage: Filipino Christian (her dad) married Malaysian Sabahan Muslim (her mom).
Notes: Jenny is a Christian believer, been trying to attain citizenship, but no progress.

Person Name: Bobby
Status: Single, Malaysian Chinese, Non-Muslim
Heritage: Chinese Buddhist (his dad) married Chinese Buddhist (his mom).
Notes: Bobby's identification records show that his religion as a Buddhist.

Scenario:

Bobby and Jenny decides to get married after good amount of years together.
They plan to settle down in Malaysia, for now.
Some concerns arise as Jenny has Muslim heritage (mom's side) despite holding a Filipino passport.
They are concerned that they will have no choice, but to face conversion to be a Muslim.
They are not against the religion. They have spent a good amount of years practicing what they believe in, but IF it is to be forced for conversion, it definitely feels unjust.

1. Can Jenny apply as a Malaysian citizen while holding the Filipino passport when she completes her marriage with Bobby?

2. What are the circumstances where Jenny will need to be converted to Muslim when the citizenship processes through?

3. How will all these impact Bobby?

Hi all,

I am unsure whether my topic title makes sense but here's the clear cut picture of what i want to do:

Situation:
PC 1 no WiFi adapter.
PC 2 got WiFi adapter.

Action Plan:
Connect PC 1 with LAN cable for internet connection to the wireless router.
At the same time, PC 2 still uses WiFi for internet connection from the same wireless router.

Is this possible?
How do you define it?

Is my PSU enough for my quoted system?

Purpose:
Meant to run a P.O.S and inventory system supported by these few peripherals:
- Barcode Scanner
- Keyboard & Mouse
- Receipt Printer
- Cash Drawer

Is the PSU enough?
Because the casing we need must be a slim type (to save space), it has a small and compact PSU that has a max power output of 200W.
If it isn't enough, are there any PSU that are small and compact with a higher power output? I was told its difficult to source for a new one

I did my homework: Dell's Vostro 230s Slim Tower's PSU is 250W and has almost the same specifications as mine. What do you guys think? Will the 50W extra make a difference?

Hi people, reason why i started this thread is because today a stranger was calling my gf several times. She refused to pick up the call, but today i believe she accidentally picked up the call, and this guy was saying "hello hello..."
My gf said not to call her again, and the line suddenly disconnected. She then SMS-ed that guy with the same message. He replied with intentions to rape her.

I discussed with her the things she needs to do:

(1) lodge a police report. Any other special association which can help us?
(2) change her Facebook account's name, details, pictures (her profile is already private from the public). She might consider deactivating the account now.
(3) probably change her number too. Is it possible to change a prepaid number to another prepaid number while retaining the same plan?
(4) change her usual appearance spots since the guy may know her frequent places visited. (places she park her car, places she frequent often, etc)
(5) avoid going places alone, avoid going back too late, have a curfew.
(6) stop using Facebook mobile. Can the public see your phone number of Facebook mobile users?

What else are we missing out and what else can we do? Please help. It's really untimely too. What to expect on the first day of X'mas huh

The stranger called back. He threatens to harm them if police report is made. Although many of you may think i am should be beside her now, which I will be soon, but I would like some helpful tips on tackling this issue first. I'm getting more help as we speak. What is the proper solution?

This system I'm thinking of making would be for downloading purposes and surfing only. Which means I don't need a VGA card. Right now, I managed to salvage some parts from my cousin's old PC:

a) Pentium 4 @ 2.66GHz 533MHz FSB 1MB L2 cache (90nm, 84W)
b) ASRock 775VM800 motherboard
c) Kingston 1GB + 512MB DDR400

Questions I wanna ask: with the combination of the components above,
a) what is my minimum PSU needed?
b) if I were to setup this set, will the power consumed be more than the new low end C2D setups? (without VGA card).

And... let's say I would be buying a new system, what is my ideal processor (intel preferably), motherboard (should have onboard graphics and be able to fit into a micro atx casing), and PSU? BTW, I will be using a wireless card too.

The white circles are the problem. It may look that way in the picture, but on my desktop now, it's like little pixels in the shaded area of my wallpaper is missing.

When I'm watching videos (eq. House M.D) there this weird scarring in the video. Here's the captured images of it.

If it can't be fixed, which hardware of mine is to blame? Monitor or my VGA card? Please help! Thanks!

BTW, monitor's a SONY SDM-HX73, 5 years old. My VGA card's a Gainward HD 4850, 1 year old. And restarting my pc isn't helping at all.

I'm looking for a software for my dad. He's running a stationery shop and he wants to computerize all of his items and prices to save the trouble of writing and referring to files and such.

I thought about Microsoft Office, but I've no idea which application to use; Access? Excel? If the solution lies in Office, please post some guidelines about the application to use? Thanks.
