Shops in Subang/PJ area for guitar maintenance

Sort of 'inherited' a guitar from my relative (hey, it's free of charge), but the strings are rusty even to my noob eyes, doubt it'll stand abit of random hammering from a beginner.

Could anyone please recommend some shops in subang/PJ area where I can get it in to maintain/change the strings? Just going to rough it through with this guitar for a few months before deciding to get a brand new one of my own.

Also Would be nice if anyone can recommend some chord books which are easy on the eyes of a beginner

ATI HD 4670 BSOD

Just plugged my beautiful new HD4670 512 MB in yesterday, and was having a blast.. UNTIL...

Was halfway through Gears when it went all white and suddenly crashed and windows went into the blue screen error stating fault in ati3duag.dll driver... Thought it was an isolated case, so I tried other high end games as well. All ended up in BSOD after awhile, so I downloaded all the updates and also Catalyst (If its any help)

BUT, still experiencing BSOD. Did a checkup on google, seems that I'm not the only person out there with this problem. There were a few solutions, but most of them basically require updates of drivers and stuff. I can't seem to blame any other hardware, as the GC is the only new thing I've plugged in.

So am wondering if anybody here has a fix for this error?

GTX260 or HD4870?

Am thinking of dumping my 1 year plus 256mb Gefore 7300GT and getting a better one in time for Fallout 3 (And also for the high end games I've been missing out )

Thing is, I don't think my rig is meant to make use of the full capacity of the higher end gcs, as it is a standard rig (no mods since I first purchase it, 2 YEARS AGO)

So here's a quick view of what my rig currently looks like...

Intel® Pentium® D CPU 2.66GHz/2.67GHz (It's a dual core... no idea of specific name)
2GB DDR2 RAM
FoxConn motherboard (I have no specific name/design for it... just know it's foxconn... Will update if detailed info can provide better recommendation)
Basic power supply from the casing

So my question is... which gc would be better off in my ancient rig? ATi or NVidia? I've read the reviews, I've run thru some threads, and I have no idea which is which. I have no personal preferrence, so I hope no hardcore fans start a war in here for dominance of gc

Budget is RM1000 for the gc... And I really hope I don't need to upgrade anything else in there my current budget is limited.

P.S
Am a computer illiterate, but I'll try to keep up with the cool acronyms and what not I don't want to feel old

Thank you in advance ^^

Whatever happened to Trevor Chan?

Was digging through my old pile of games, and wouldn't you know it. Stumbled upon my old copy of Seven Kingdoms and it's sequel (NO, not that faggot Conquest one...) and also on my Capitalism 2 game....

And I must say, I may be able to pwn people high and low in RTS nowadays... But man do I have to work playing Seven Kingdoms all over again... Now that was a game that will forever go down in history, with the espionage and stuff (I must admit I have never won fully on force... unless I'm playing Fryhtan lol). And Capitalism was one superb game which in retrospect, it's unbelievable such a game existed back then. One of the best business sims definitely...

(A quick search in google and I found out that some bigshot colleges in the States actually use Capitalism game in their business courses)

All of this games are of course, thanks to the venerable mind of Trevor Chan... Now the big question is, whatever happened to him??

Perth and Adelaide

Am looking forward to going over to Australia for my studies next year. But I currently have two choices (well, more like one fixed option and one family choice lol). I'll either be in Perth or Adelaide, and seems like my grades won't be the main issue about going there

Anyways, just wondering bout the environment of these two places before I make my choice. I've been to Perth, and I gotta say it's nice and peaceful in a way... but I guess living there for a whole year or 2 would be different than being there for a week. Experience on Adelaide, on the other hand, is mostly through the internet, and I must say that 'Kangaroo Land' as a tourist attraction isn't selling the place so well for me lol.

So... just wondering if there's anyone that has been there before, or anyone currently living there who can give me a lil background on the whole surrounding there? Especially on Adelaide, cuz I know nuts about that place. Thanks!

PSP Slim Batts

Just wanted to ask some of you PSP owners out there, what type of battery do you use? I mean in the power capability. I have been planning to get a stronger, longer lasting battery, and it seems like the most tahanted one is 3600mAh... But I'm kinda worried that it'll explode or something LOL, because I think that it's not really official hardware is it? Just need some info on that lol. Thanks!
